Sweet Story
This sweet, enemies to lovers story had strong family connections (Ivy and her brother Luke’s relationship was so heartwarming), supportive friends who would drop anything to help each other, cute and funny moments, and a slow burn that was oh so satisfying. James was Mirror Valley’s hero and totally misunderstood by Ivy. Her mind was closed on the subject of James Weston, but as he slowly pulls back his layers for her, she starts to see him for who he really is and gets to know him for the man he’s become. And the way he so patiently cares for Ivy and is there for her when she needs him most, is so beautiful. The only thing I couldn’t get on board with was the reason why they were still enemies. I thought it was a little childish, but I get that things can seem so much worse when that dramatic/sensitive thing happened in you were teenagers. But that did not get in the way of a really sweet and enjoyable story. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

A Sweet Romance
First off I have to say I love the narrator of this story. I give them props for the British accent. I love Ivy and all her quirks. I also love how James helps Ivy to let loose. James is all kinds of dreamy with his British accent and you are screaming at both characters to realize their true feelings for each other. I loved the minor characters as well. Luke was very protective of his sister and it made me love his character even more. And Daisy I think she was by far my favorite minor character such a peppy person who’s very Supportive of her best friend. I can’t wait for Daisy and Luke story and I hope in the process we get to catch up with James and Ivy a bit too.

Brother’s best friend, I am here for!
Um, I’m here for all the English accent narrators! This was a cute novel, had some sweet moments between our MCs that were heart warming. But truly, that accent just had me ;) great choice for the narrators. This is enemies to lovers, brothers best friend, forced proximity, and all the goodness that comes from romcoms. I liked the best man/wedding planning feel. Having to run errands together, yes please! This felt like a classic chick flick storyline that I would expect to see at the movies back in the early 2000s (not a bad thing, I love(d) those movies!)Thanks to netgalley for the audio! I definitely enjoyed my time with these characters.

Hallmark Style Love Story
Clean read with a sweet happy ending leading to a sequel. Reading the story made me feel like I was in the middle of a Hallmark love story.

Funny, sweet and sassy
I loved that it had a conflict. So many books are boring with a small angst. This however was envigoratingly fresh. The characters were complex with insecurities and their life long struggle to overcome them to be the best versions of themselves. The conflict resolution was spectacular! I had a great time reading this book. 5 stars!

4.25 stars for this one!
Ivy Brooks is all set on planning her brother's wedding at the Inn her family owns. But what she doesn't expect is for her brother's best friend and her childhood nemesis James Weston to arrive back in town to step into the best man shoes. On top of that they have to spend all their time together since the entire responsibility of planning the wedding has fallen on Ivy's shoulders and James has decided to help her. I loved the homey vibes that the small town setting in this book gave out and I also loved the side characters especially Daisy (Ivy's bff) and Luke (Ivy's brother). Most of the brother's best friend romance books I've read have the kind of brother who gets too dam annoying and controlling when he finds out about the main characters being together but I'm glad that Luke was so chill here! It was a refreshing surprise which made me love the book even more. James & Ivy's chemistry gave me butterflies and their banter was so funny and entertaining! I wish I could've been able to read more about their dynamics back in highschool because the way they made it sound like they were constantly poking each other, seemed so much fun lol. But the progression of their relationship was so natural and everything just smoothly fell into place. If you're into a light-hearted, drama free small town romance with the childhood enemies to lovers and brother's best friend/bestfriend's sister trope, then this is the right pick for you!

Very Entertaining
The part I enjoyed the most was the train wreck wedding - it was exquisitely done! I couldn't put it down. Just had to find out what Eleanor was going to do next.
