The media could not be loaded.  Update, 8 months later. Sigh...the speaker didn’t last. The sound quality remains good, but the Bluetooth connection reliability is poor / frustrating. It will cycle on and off 5+ times during one song - clearly not worth th trouble.Importantly, even though the seller advertises in the description a 12 month warranty, there is no number or website to be found (I looked, Amazon looked, all that remains is a shell website).In short, there’s a reason it’s 40% off from when I purchased it 8 months ago.Amazon handled the situation to my satisfaction, but buyer beware, not worth the trouble.Original review (no longer current):This is a fantastic portable speaker on every level. The visual design is great, the red has an almost metallic quality to it that looks like a superhero speaker. It functions intuitively, pairing with my mobile Bluetooth easily, and just as readily with the auxiliary cord provided. The speaker announces each action it's taking, so you know when Bluetooth is connected, when it's disconnecting, when the auxiliary is plugged in, etc. Most importantly, the sound is very good. I was primarily looking for something to play near the pool because those sad shower speakers just don't cut it. I didn't even reach max volume when I tested it in the house because it was amply loud. I tested it on Drakes passionfruit and Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song, both were well represented. Surprisingly good bass. For you audiophiles, of course this isn't going to rival the crispness of a Bose or other high-end speaker, but that's not really the point. At $50, this is a no-brainer. I would consider buying another of these for my bedroom/bathroom area. I would purchase again and would recommend to a friend (and have already!) Ive been really impressed by this speaker. It can get really loud. The craftsmanship and attention to detail that defines these speakers is immediately apparent. Build quality is excellent as well. These cant match the sound of the bose soundlink revolv but do come pretty close for nearly 1/6th of the price. The only con I see with this speaker is the bass. The sound is room filling but the bass can use a little help. The bluetooth pairing is straightforward and I lOVE that these speakers include a micro sd card so I dont have to always have my phone tethered to the speakers. I can defenitely recommend this speaker. Great sound and build quality for a speaker of its size.

Nice sounding speaker and extremely durable. I had this on the bank of my tractor while I was doing some work. My wife drove off not realizing it was there. She ran over it and drug it down the drive way. The only damage was some scuffs nothing else. We also use while kayaking and have not had any issues getting it wet.

Seems to work fine. I hope this one lasts. It seems to work fine or as fine as bluetooth can.

I wouldn't purchase this again. Battery life is way too minimal! The output is not great either. I was dissatisfied for sure.

The speaker blew the first day and now it won't turn on

Do Not Buy! Bought this exactly one year ago and no longer works. Even when charging all day it won’t turn on. Even emailed the company twice and no response there isn’t anyone to call either just a simple email that nobody responds to. Very unhappy with this customer service. Would love for someone to reach out to me.
