My puppy loves this and she plays until she is worn out. This works great in a small patio that lets her run back and forth chasing it.

So far, my 75lb German shepherd has almost effortlessly destroyed 2 other flirt poles within seconds of play and unfortunately, this pole is no exception. While the other rods broke apart, the issue with this one is specifically the black cover at the bottom of the loop. It's supposed to prevent the rope from being pulled through the rod, but within seconds of playing tug, my dog pulled the loop out and through the entire rod. I was able to fix it by using a long metal wire to grab the rope and thread it back through the rod and then I tied a knot at the end of the loop so it wouldn't happen again. Just something to be aware of, tying a knot does limit the adjustments you can make for the rope length.One other small note is the while the pole is much more durable than others I've seen, I also noticed that it's fairly easy for the screwed parts to come a bit loose. Not a huge deal if you check it before every playtime but just something to keep in mind.

Our dog loves this! We both have a great time playing together. It seems well-crafted and sturdy. The "bait" is thick fabric and tough. The design is simple, which is a good thing for a product like this.
