I had a new garage door opener installed a couple of years ago and the old keypad did not work with the new opener. I wanted a new keypad for the convenience.Programming the wireless keypad to work with my opener was one of the easiest, trouble-free installations I have ever done. Followed the instructions to program the four-digit code utilizing the learn button on my opener. After I confirmed it is working, installed it just outside the garage door.The unit came with a 9 volt battery installed.After you have opened or closed the door by entering the code + pressing Enter, if you press Enter again within about 3 seconds you can open/close again without needing to re-enter the code. Outside of this small time window, though, you will need to re-enter the code.

I first ordered this keypad about a month ago and was unable to get it to work. Initially I was not certain if it was the product or my opener. So I left a review saying as much. The seller reached out, refunded my money, and sent me a new keypad. I and glad to report that the new keypad is working. I can't say enough positive things about the seller. I replaced my mother in laws key pad for her garage with this one. It was easy to program and install. My only advice is to not use the screws it comes with, they are cheap and the screw heads snap off easily. Works great and it made my mother in law happy.

I have a Liftmaster Security 2.0 and I could not get this "universal" keypad to pair, so I took a look at YouTube to help with this, and to no avail. So, I took to reading the reviews on Amazon hoping someone else's struggles would aid in mine but, to no avail. So, I enlisted the aid of my 17 year old who's more interested in looking cool than passing classes but, I thought he's got this; however, to no avail. So, my last ditch effort is my 19 year old who was an honor student in High school, had AP classes coming out his butt, is going to already graduate college this fall (2023)...he can surely get this, right? NOPE...this GD thing still doesn't work so I ended up just ordering a new one, but this time I made sure it said Liftmaster on the lid. I, of course, have more to do than what time allows so I am outside my 30 day return window, so I guess I can keep this as a memento to reading and pay attention to what the hell I'm buying, or I can donate the darn thing as a tribute to the cinema movie The Ring...it's slowly torturing and killing you.

Unlike our old keypad, this one makes you punch your code in order to both open and close the door. But other than that it works great right out of the box and fixed the issue of our old one not working.

This replaced my Chamberlain garage door keypad which had stopped working, even with battery replacement. I wish I had ordered this long ago! The opener installed easily, however I did need to drill a new lower screw hole, as it did not match up with my previous one. But that was quick and the keypad was easy to setup. First effort took! I have an operating garage door keypad again!

Bought this item to replace the original LiftMaster remote control. The installation is the same original which is very easy. Functionally however, is much less user friendly. After pressing the numbers, one has to press and hold Enter for 2 seconds in order for the signal to be sent or registered. Comparing with the LiftMaster version, this remote is much harder to use. There is no shortcut to press Enter and close either.

Used on an older garage door opener and works great. Convienient to use without having to use garage remote in vehicle.
