The lights in my swimming pool were installed in 1979 and haven't worked in over 10 years. All the bids I've received to get them repaired have been in the several thousand dollar range, which I just can't afford to pay right now. Anyway, I found these LED's on amazon and decided to gave them a shot. I bought two packs and they work great! They come with suction cups and I stick them to the tile right below the water line. They have tons of different color choices and patterns that are fun to play with. My only regret is that I didn't buy these several years ago! As you can see from the pic, they REALLY work well in our pool.

I love playing with my LED lights in the hot tub. It is capable of handling 104 degrees for an hour or two. I like to put it to fade so it changes color slowly. They are waterproof and come with two remotes that will work on both lights. After about 2 months, some water got inside one of the lights. It still works, but there is a lot of rust where the lights connect to the circuit board. It will probably wear out soon. It would be great if it used stainless screws and connections, but it is still nice. Since the threads are plastic, I worry about overtightening and breaking it. The gasket isn't great but it mostly works.

When I got these, I thought they were pretty cool after putting in the batteries and setting them to the many different colors. The range of colors is impressive. Then came all the dissapointment. The problem is the pretty useless remote. It works great if you are standing within a couple feet, but beyond that, nothing. After placing 3 of these on the pool light lense(light not working, hense the purchase of these) which is about 2 feet below the water surface, I couldn't turn them off, change the color, or use any of the cool features. I even put the remote in a water proof phone case, held it right up to the light, and still nothing. Thr signal does not seem to penatrate water. I thought maybe it was that particular remote, but all 3 failed. (You get a remote for each light, and they will work with all the lights)So what is the point? So I basically wasted 9 batteries for one evening of pool light since I didn't feel like getting back in the pool at the end of the night to retrieve them. So I give 2 stars for a nice blue glow to my pool, but I don't recommend these for pool use. Also if you float them, they easily flip over so lights face upward rather than into the pool, they probably would stay lights down if the water is still.

We use these in our inflatable hot tub! I let them float when we are soaking, and I use the suction cups to put them on the floor while the jets run. I love the rainbow fade effect!

Received a defective light unfortunately, but I know it happens. Ryan, from Starfish, reached out to me within a day of the light dying to get some feedback on my purchase and I told him about the dead light. We ended up emailing back and forth a couple times and it ended with him telling me that he would send me a new light free of charge. True to his word the replacement showed up today.I emailed him right after the replacement showed up and told him that even if the replacement light happened to die I would give him a good review for customer service alone. Great communication and great follow thru and there's a lot to be said for that. Kudos to you, Ryan.As far as the light goes I bought it to light up the inside of an amythst geode...looks great, the colors are awesome, and I would highly recommend it.

Bought these not knowing how well they would light up my pool. We just used them last night 9/8 for my daughters sleepover and the kids loved them. I put both in the pool (at opposite ends) on strobe setting and it lite up the pool really well. It was a great change from the regular pool light.

These underwater LED lights are AWESOME! I bought them to put in my hot tub to add some extra light and they work perfectly. The batteries are very easy to install and the suction cupped right to the wall. I really like that I can change the colors with the remote and the fade mode is awesome. I would highly recommend these underwater LED lights!

Wow! These are amazing!!!!!! I am so surprised at how cheap and cool these are! These things are fully adjustable and customizable as well as submersible in water for a few hours!!! You can adjust the color, brightness and mode(Strobe, flash, smooth...)The remote is just icing on the cake. Just make sure before you out them in water that you comp!eteky tihten the 2 halves together until they don't move.I use these everywhere from my snake enclosures as a wow factor at night to behind my TV as a color changing, mood lighting light show!!!
