Easy to assemble and install. Worked well for my older relative after her hip surgery, added just the right height to our comfort height toilet, and she felt stable and comfortable using it. Made the toilet very tall, but it was necessary under the cirsumstance.Why did you pick this product vs others?:Good reviews. Information made it sound well made.

Very sturdy and comfortable raised toilet seat. The handles are a great support tool. I took my handles off since I am a bigger guy and the handles weren’t useful for me, but they are very strong and stable for use. The installation was very simple and straightforward. The seat can be easily removed to be cleaned, or relocated to another toilet. I usually take mine with me on vacation to use in the Airbnb or hotel that Im staying at. Would highly recommend.

We selected this raised seat after viewing several options, some selling for less. So glad we chose this product. Excellent construction and design. Installation is simple and the included hardware provides for a very secure and solid platform. The seat can be raised just like a conventional one so either gender can use the toilet as usual. The arm rests are marked R and L but can be reversed to allow more room in front of the toilet, which we need in a small bathroom

Perfect for my elongated toilet seat. I had an interior approach hip replacement and this seat was a godsend. It’s super easy to install, is sturdy, easy to clean and quite comfortable. I highly recommend this Bemis raised toilet seat. It’s not a huge eyesore either!

Great in nearly all ways. High-quality. Stable. Easy install. Very good soft grip stable handles. Perfect fit. Easy sizing options for round OR oval toilet.Shiny plastic upper looks great and easy to clean but underside is hollow with different compartments that easily collect "splash up" from the toilet. Wish it was a closed system, with a covered bottom...with a slight angle towards inside of the seat which would direct any additional backsplash back into the toilet bowl instead on floor or dripping back down the outside of the toilet bowl. Doesn't happen during every use. Probably fine for someone who doesn't have IBS or loose stool though. Great product with great price overall.

I am a Mechanical Engineer so am a bit more critical than maybe the average person. The unit arrived one day before promised and was in a carton that was more than adequate to handle the stress of a long trip with multiple transfer depos. Unit arrived in perfect condition, and I was surprised as I was expecting a feather weight carton but to my surprise found just the opposite. The unit itself .....base and lid...were of very solid construction. Sorry that i did not weigh the unit but would guess it was close to 8 -10 pounds ....looked and felt solid. The unit had a self closing solid lid and fit our Kohler oval toilet perfectly. The two threaded mounting studs were molded solidly into the seat base which resulted in the 2 mounting posts to set perfectly flat on the Kohler toilet ....absolutely no wobble ! I tightened the seat down with the 2 plastic nuts but did not tighten fully until a week later as to allow for and any "settling in" ......in retrospect not necessary. The 2 support arms .....which were very important for my wife..... fit perfectly as designed, and gave her the required need for security. And for $145 I cannot say enough good things about this product. Its a bargain! and would purchase it again. Nice job Bemis. CG

We bought this for a friend who will have a knee joint replaced late in July. It's expensive--you can find raised toilet seats for $40. But it's the one I got for myself before my right knee was replaced last year, so I know about the build quality, which is very high, and can say with confidence that it does what it's supposed to. It was also easy to install. My knee is pretty much back to normal, but I haven't removed the raised seat and don't see any reason why I should.

Great tool for anyone requiring support when standing up from bathroom duty. Handles are a special benefit. About a 7” rise. So helpful before after knee, hip, or foot surgery.Easy installation & removal.
