Great line of luggage, we travel nonstop and they have heald up great!
We have had this suitcase for about 3 months, my partner and I travel a lot for work and pleasure so I did some extensive research on the pros and cons of hard luggage vs soft and the different types of wheels etc. This Aero Delsey line was always one of the top rated and made just about every travel blog luggage rating list I saw. We bought a whole set, the 29", 25" and 2 of the smallest ones the 19" that has the outside pocket and can fit in a overhead bin. I would recommend getting the 3rd party warranty as it covers about anything and is well worth it if you do travel a lot like we do. All of the sizes that we purchased fit inside one another which is great for storage. You do have to get use to how to pack and open the hard luggage if you have never used them before. Don't want all of you stuff pouring out in be hotel. Couple of things I would say to think about if you are looking for new luggage. The wheels are so important, these spinners are great make sure that no matter which luggage you end up buying make sure the wheels are double-sided spinners so it's little 2 little wheels on each one (like on office chairs) some of the cheaper, and even more expensive brands have single wheels and they will wear down faster and break more easily. Also one thing to note, when you have these hard shell suitcases and you get to a hotel or where ever you are traveling to, if you are the type of person that likes to setup a luggage stand and just live out of your suitcase sitting on it, these may not be the best option for you. Since items are stored evenly on each side you have to open the suit case fully like a book to really access everything and to pack and unpack it, just something to consider. In the 3 months we have had these we have traveled 2 times internationally and probably 4-5 times domestically like NYC area to FL and NC, checking these hard shell suitcases does get some scratches on them but overall they have really held up well. The side handles, retractable handle and the wheels have all remained sturdy and we have not had any issues. The lock works great on the side and the inside zipper compartment and straps all work great. You can really fit a lot into these suitcases and the best part about this model is that is gives a little unlike some hard shells so you can fit that extra few things in, it also has the zipper expander but we have not needed to expand it any. The luggage looks great and very stylish, have taken it right into meetings with me and even had some complements. Feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions I have included a few photos to show have they have worn as most people probably travel less in a year then we do in a few months.

Robust luggage for International travel
Update 10DEC2019: After four years of heavy international travel, the luggage is intact with no surface punctures, broken zippers, or damaged interior... Highest recommendation.Purchased for international travel - a hard sided bag was the key driver for purchaseThe unit opens flat for packing - one side of the unit has a cover that can be zipped closed; the other has an adjustable strap that will secure the contents - A small pouch along the seam can be zipped shut and will hold small items.Initial Concerns at the time of purchase were:- the overall size of the unit and ability to pack enough clothes- Performance of the zipper- Durability of the wheels over timeAfter a year of use and approximately 12 international flights and a handful of trips on North America:- Exterior of the unit is performing well - only evidence of use is a half dozen scrapes and scratches- All handles are intact and functioning as expected- NSA lock performs well- Wheels function smoothly - the wheels and the mounts holding them to the luggage are robust- Zipper for the unit has performed without issueFrom a size standpoint, the unit is perfect for a 7-10 day trip which includes 2 pair of shoes, bath kit, 2 suit coats and three pair of slacks along with the assortment of casual clothes and undergarments

BUYER BEWARE! WARRANTY IS A SCAM! PLASTIC CRACKED AFTER 6 SEGMENTS - NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY!
At first, i was supser excited to get this 29 inch luggage from Delsey. It looks modern, great wheels, handle is well constructed and it looks like one of the more expensive cases but the truth it's made of a cheap plastic mold. After only 6 segments, 3 trips the suitcase cracked on the bottom and up the side (See pics). I've had the suitcase for less than 8 months. The worst part is that this luggage has a 2 year warranty which is absolutely worthless if it doesnt cover the actualy plastic case Here is what the seller said, "The manufacturers warranty usually only covers defects. For instance if the stitching is coming apart, the zipper is not working or the handle is stuck. In these cases your item would be repaired, not replaced. Damage such as wearing down of the plastic wheels or a crack in the plastic is usually caused by outside forces and will not be covered." That's complete BS. It's luggage. It's going to be handled and tossed aroud by airline workers. This should not have broken so easilty.I paid extra money for a hardshell based on the reviews and the warranty. Dont waste your time on this cheaply made suitcase. Now i'm out all of the money because neither the seller, the manufacturer or Amazon are willing to stand behind the sale. Very disappointing.

Sturdy, lots of room.
This is a really big suitcase. Bought to transport full diving kit so I'm happy, but if just for normal clothes etc it might be a bit much :D Worth bearing in mind it can very easily go over plane weight limits without even being full, even just filling it with clothes can end up very heavy. The wheels are very sturdy so far, despite us having got lost and wheeled it around bumpy streets a couple of times that definitely would have broken other cases. And the TSA lock is a nice feature (but obviously not sure how much it would deter someone if they were very keen to get inside and had time). Overall very happy with it, keeps and protects a huge amount of luggage.

It was the only carry on with the extra third compartment with a nicely padded pocket for my laptop
I bought it because of its advertised small size. But it was the same size as my other. It was the only carry on with the extra third compartment with a nicely padded pocket for my laptop. I liked the expandable 2 inches for extra space. Strong and easy to move. It was however wrongly described as cobalt blue. It was rather dark midnight blue. In certain lights it had a hint of purple.I'm delighted.

Thoroughly tested and lived out of for a month on the rails... without doubt, the BEST suitcase.
These have got to be the absolute best hard-case trolleys on the market! My wife and I took a pair of these on the rails across the country for an entire month. Traveling in economy by Via Rail, these incredibly durable cases were a lifesaver, no matter how hard a beating we gave them, from Vancouver to Halifax, they hardly showed any damage at all by the end of a month well worn in (in the titanium colour, even some of the worst scratches we gave them didn't show up much, see pictures)! We dragged them up the hills of Grandville island, pulled them through med in Jasper, crashed them into streetcar tracks in Toronto (the trick is to pull them like a trad-style suitcase across big bumps, then switch back to spinner-mode to roll beside you when you're walking down the sidewalk again... only took us three crashes to figure that out), clanged them through the cobblestones of the Old Port in Montreal, raked through the rocks in Halifax's harbour, then brought them all the way back home in fully functional condition for another trip to come. And then there's the organization, when you live out of your suitcase for any extended period of time, especially a month on the rails, you need to be able to carry a lot of stuff but be able to access it all easily and quickly without having everything fall everywhere in the process. The Helium Aero delivers flawlessly here, it's got so much organization we actually had extra space after our first attempt packing, and as you get to know its many organizational pockets, straps and pouches better throughout your trip, somehow you end up taking up less space as you go on. And then if you need some extra space for souvenirs there's no need to hold back! It's zippered accordion expander may not sound like much, but when you finally open it half way through your trip because of the overwhelming accumulation of model lighthouses, Montreal maple syrup, Jasper carabiner mugs, etceteras, etceteras, etceteras... there always happens to be enough room for one more tchotchke to-go!My wife and I cannot stress enough how amazing these suitcases are. Having taken them the long hard way from coast to coast we highly recommend these tanks of the luggage world!

Very light and rugged case, LOVE IT!
So far this suitcase has been to Europe and back (I live in Quebec) 5 times and it still looks new with zero damage (I use a neoprene suitcase cover) so I am very happy with this case. It's a good size for 5 day trips that include bringing gym gear and extra shoes with plenty of room left for souvenirs on the way back. Drives nice and smooth as well when dashing through airports and parking lots. I wasn't sure if I would like the fact that it has no external pockets like material style suitcases, but honestly I don't miss them at all. If you're on the fence to buy this case, go for it, you'll love it!

Had it for 18 months, never let me down
I'm on the road two to three times a month for a week (or, sometimes two at a time). This case let me give up carrying a knapsack with my laptop (I travel now with a sashbag and this suitcase). It's easy to whip my laptop out for inspection and put it back in. I can put enough clothes in to leave home on a Sunday and (provided I do laundry at the hotel on Saturday) come back home a week the following Friday. It's a tight fit though -- when my shirts come out, I but them in the hotel bathroom and let the shower run on hot to let the wrinkles fall out. Other than some scuffing, everything has stood up well with almost 30 trips a year. Once someone accidentally picked up my suitcase, took it to Israel with them, and sent it back in a very poorly packed/way too big box. The suitcase came through with flying colours. I'd recommend this to anyone interested in downsizing their travel kit.
