S&B Filters 75-5104 Cold Air Intake For 2011-2016 Ford Powerstroke 6.7L (Oiled Cleanable, 8-ply Cotton Filter)

2013 F350 6.7 4x4 8’ bed @170K. Usually I do not muck around with CAI anymore and leave Truck/SUV stock – but that was my past gassers, after learning my lesson installing a K&N long ago. I really didn’t notice any differences and felt it was waste of Money. *** I bought this dry S&B because I own a diesel now plus, I don’t like messing with re-oiling. It had great product reviews. Along with replacing both hot-cold intercooler pipes (cold side burst) I figured what the heck, right? *** Install when smooth and I was impressed by the size of the filter – Huge compared to stock and makes more sense to be round instead of flat. Also, I reviewed the YouTube of the MFG trying to collapse a filter very impressive (didn’t have link at time of writing, but you can search for it). Got it all buttoned up and tested. With the hood up and looking things over, I could hear a bit of a difference in engine harmonics, if ever so slight. Just sounded better overall, don’t think it was a trick of the ear because I just installed a new Filter either? The old OEM one was clean and only 6mo old. Test driving truck it just seemed to have more gitty up. While driving there was no real noticeable sound changes in fact truck sounded quieter to me even with windows down. When I Jumped on it – it was all fast forward logging 0-60 in few seconds at ¼ throttle and without hesitation where previously I’d have to wait for the turbo lag and maybe ½ throttle for same results , still powerfully fast mind you but better with S&B. Naturally that could be assisted by new intercooler pipes as well. **** Reset MPG tracker I was round 13.6 in city now 16.4 so big difference for 8,800lbs. No highway driving yet. So far it seemed to meet all the hype. Since its been on a few days now and If you are in the market for a CAI don’t hesitate to buy this one.

This took me about 1hr to install, installation was very straight forward. Performance wise I have noticed boost builds quicker and can actually hear a little more turbo whistle. Mileage wise is slightly higher by around 2mpg as long as your not punching it around ever corner lol. Biggest thing in had noticed is my dpf regens are better. I was getting about 130 miles between each regen. My last regen was 155 miles and the one before that was 246 miles so any extra miles between regens is a pro for me. By my calculations each regen burns approximately 1 gallon of disel so if I do less regens per tank that is a win for me. It is getting cold in ohio right now so mileage is not going to be good as it is in the summer since I'm starting it up and let it warm up so I'm excited to see how it does in the spring. Would definitely buy and wish I would not have waited as long as I did.

I used to get about 16 to 18 highway and 13 to 15 city on the highway I'm getting 20 to 24 highway in the city I'm getting about 16 to 17 it really let's the truck breath like a Diesel needs to its current a all stock truck besides the air filter . I organly bought it because for some resion my trucks air box was rubbing on the hood took it to ford to see of they could fix it they only made it worse tryed adjusting the hood my self no luck so I decided to try this and for the 318$ defently worth the money .. I really didn't think I'd see a mpg improvement like that I was thinking mabye 1 more highway but it was definitely worth it also my truck has an exhaust brake and before it was slow to kick on but with this ik intake as soon as I let off she kicks on

As this was unpacked and assembled, you could tell there’s some really great quality out into the pieces of this kit!Extremely clear instructions made install a breeze - maybe 20 minutes at most??It does noticeably change the idle and low rpm engine sound - louder and throatier sound that can be heard in the cab. Not what I was looking for, but also not obnoxious or distracting. I think the is a by-product if eliminating that huge chamber on the OEM intake.I don’t have enough miles on it to give a report of any mileage increase. The primary motivation was to improve the intake in preparation for a performance tuner.The fit and finish is really nice - great product!

This kit for my 2013 6.7 Powerstroke is one of the top 5, if not the #1 aftermarket part I have ever put on any vehicle, ever. It is the best constructed, most well thought out, and best fitting aftermarket intake kit I have ever seen. I have learned to keep low expectations for aftermarket parts but this kit is ridiculously awesome. To say it fits as good "factory" would be an insult - it fits better than factory in every way. I have yet to see how it affects power or mileage but how could it not help with that massive. free-flowing filter and smooth intake tube? S&B has me for life.

I installed this on my 2015 F250 Powerstroke 6.7l truck. The installation instructions and B&G’s YouTube video were very good and made the installation straight forward and easy. . It took me approximately 1.5 hours to install, probably because I work so slow. The improvements were immediately noticeable. My truck now has a slightly throatier sound and my fuel mileage improved by 4 mpg. NexT TO MY LED headlight upgrade, this is the best improvement I’ve made to my truck. I could not be happier with this CAI.

Great product and very easy installation with great directions.

S&B has always been one of the top in CAI and this one doesn't disappoint. Only thing I wish I would have done different would be buying the dry filter instead of the oiled. Just for ease of quickly cleaning. Deserves 6 out of 5 stars.
