Great Microphone
This microphone is great and works on my FT-710. I get great audio reports. The boom arm is not of a very good quality, but it doesn't move around once you get it where you want it.

Works nicely with Shure SM58 microphone - very pleased :)
I was looking for a cable for my Shure SM58 microphone. The cable that it came with is XLR on both ends. I needed an XLR to 3.5 mm to connect with a Sony camera.I had to look up the info on the Shure mic, to confirm that it is "balanced" and would be a match for this cable.I also sent a message to the seller before buying, and they confirmed this cable would work with a Shure SM58 Mic to a Sony camera.It does indeed work! :)A couple of notes:- I needed to turn up the internal volume on my camera since the Shure mic doesn't have any volume control.- The cable doesn't work with my computer (nor it is advertised that it would work with my computer.) I think possible a Y splitter might make it work, but that's just my guess as a person with little electronics expertise. So that would be a bonus if I could make that work.I only have tested this cable for a day, but it appears well made, so my expectation is that it'll last. Happy I bought it. :)

This cable is well made and pretty sturdy.Very good sound transmission, no noise at all and at a good price. I reccommend it.
