Peacocks for Kids

I felt like this was a great book with many important details that young readers could understand. My 1st grade daughter was to complete a book report and presentation on Peacocks for school, and this book is not readable by a 1st grader. I felt it could be read by a more independent reader, maybe a 2nd or 3rd grader at minimum. All in all, after reading the book, together, the book was well written and a lovely book written by the author.

Flimsy book. Lacks content. Or maybe my 6 year old is such a peacock enthusiast that it didn’t interest him.
