Worked for me! Make sure to moisturize!!
I suffer from adult hormonal acne I’mA natural redhead with very sensitive skin and finding anything that works for my acne topical has always been a nightmare. I tried this for my upper body and back acne that started to appear again after I went off birth control and this has made a WORLD of difference. I was getting acne so badly it would just turn into legitimate wounds on my breasts! Yeah, not cute. It was damaging my self esteem a lot so I tried this. I saw results right away seeing wounds that took weeks to heal, starting to finally really dry up and heal. My skin felt SOFT. The lather of this bar I really love and I’ve never used a bar of soap that leaves your skin feeling SOFT! It can dry your skin out if you use it regularly or often so get a sensitive skin friendly lotion like vanicream or anything else for sensitive skin that is none pore clogging. It usually dries out my neck the worst but I rather deal with some dryness over tons of uncomfortable, painful acne being mortified to wear a tank top or ever take my shirt off with a sexual partner. I feel way more confident in my skin now!!!

No More Rashes, Zero Breakouts
My doctor reminds me that our skin is the largest organ of our body, and the front-line interceptor of a lot of junk out there. The Vanicream Z-Bar is free of everything that induces skin to rash or break out -- no fragrance or chemical additives -- and it's bolstered by the naturally-occurring, elemental medicine that is Zinc. After a lifetime of rashes and breakouts (and not always in the most desirable places), I had my dermatologist culture a rash: I have "contact dermatitis," triggered by fragrances and additives in skincare and household products (even those advertised legitimately as "natural" and purchased at natural foods stores). I was told to change everything I used to clean and scent myself, with the Vanicream product line as the place to start. The Z-Bar is creamy and luxurious, and leaves me feeling no less clean and moisturized. Most importantly, I'm now rash-free.For those with skin ailments, eliminating fragrances and additives -- and using the Z-Bar in the shower -- may be the place to start. Here's hoping! - (Was this review of use to you? If so, let me know by clicking "Helpful." Cheers!)

Wish i knew about this sooner
I was referred to this via my curology experts and it has helped keep new acne at bay. I use it day and night on my face, back, and chest area (i have acne everywhere!) and it has visibly reduced the flare ups in conjunction with curology super bottle at night. This is what my curology expert said:Zinc helps both ordinary acne as well as acne breakout made worse by pityrosporum (malassezia), a fungal organism commonly found on skin, as it has antimicrobial activity against acne-causing bacteria and fungus. Zinc may suppress sebum (oil) delivery from the sebaceous glands, perhaps by anti-androgenic activity. Most people are not irritated by this, but do start gradually; use a 2% Pyrithione Zinc Bar Soap on the face / neck 3x a week in place of your regular cleanser (doesn't matter whether AM or PM). If your skin is not becoming dry or “tight,” you may use the zinc soap more often, even every day. Many people can use it daily, but some become a bit dry, so use your judgment. Lather the bar soap in your hands, apply to the face, and leave on for a minute or so before rinsing off. Keep the soap on a holder with perforations so it doesn’t stay damp, and give the bar a quick rinse before using.Skin Type: sensitive skin, eczema, combination skinProblem Areas: Oily T-zone, hormonal acne

Works as intended?
I have had problems with scalp itching for several years and have prescription shampoo and liquid. Both have helped greatly to minimize the itching, but it is not totally gone. About a year ago I started to also have itching on my forehead, and was recommended this soap as a solution by my dermatologist. It has also minimized the itching, but not stopped it completely. I gave it high ratings as there is no scent and I do not like scented products, and as far as moisturizing, who knows?

The product works well quickly
There's no scent which is good for sensitive skin. I still have some acne bumps but I've only used it for a week and they aren't noticeable. Notice a big reduce in redness within 3 days and just less break outs. Amazing product. It really works. I use it on my neck, back, and chest and I have the same results everywhere. I have curology (also amazing-not spons) and they recommended this bar. Great product, just a bit pricy. Lasts about a month so if you have to buy it every month, it's a little pricy for a bar of soap, but the quality matches up, so I don't mind. Would recommend.

Works as a shampoo bar for me
I have dandruff that is only controlled with zinc, and I have not been able to find a shampoo bar with zinc. (I am trying to lessen my plastic usage as well as the amount of water weight of the products I buy - because that drives up energy needed to transport the same effective amount of product.)I am happy to report that this bar works wonderfully for my hair. I have short hair, so I can't speak to how it would work on long, but my hair feels clean and is flake-free, and my scalp is not itchy or dry. I'm very pleased.I also tried it on my body, and found that it worked well without any irritation even on my very sensitive skin.

Good gentle cleanser
This cleans my face in a gentle way, however it doesn’t not help with my hormonal acne.

Best recommendation from Dr Dray
This is my holy grail skin care product. I use it in the morning and leave it in for about five minutes. Sometimes longer if I’m doing something. It’s the only product that got rid of the tiny bumps on my forehead. I use tretinoin, benzoyl peroxide, lactic acid. None of those got rid of them. It helps with my acne overall but the forehead was where i had the most issues. Now i personally use this once a day in the morning because it’s extremely drying. Like i have oily skin and if i consistently use it morning and night, my skin will flake. And i recommend not getting it around the fold of your nose, on my skin, it irritates that’s area like crazy. Because of that, i don’t know if I’d say this is good for sensitive skin. You’d just have to give it a shot.
