Quality product, works perfectly. This product is very expensive in Europe, I'm glad that I find it on Amazon and be able to order for my dog and his dog friends.

My pro trainer swore by it but it died after one run in the river.

I use for my pack of hunting beagles and find that it is a great setup. I have used for years with no issues. The price is great for what you get!Try it!

My only regret is that I let this sit in the box as long as I did. I thought for sure it would take a lot of effort to train my dog on this, so I waited until I had a long weekend with good weather. No need to wait. It took one walk and he was trained. I have never had to use the shock feature. I only had to use the vibrate feature once when he chased a squirrel. My dog is trained on an electric fence in the yard so understands that a "beep" means a shock may be coming if he doesn't change his direction. Off leash, one beep and he immediately follows the command I am giving him. I have even been able to train him in just a couple of walks how to heel next to me. This has given me and my dog a lot of freedom and I couldn't be happier. Also... it is waterproof as he has swam several times already in the pond. Just make sure the little "plug" is in place.

This is one of my best purchases ever -- it probably has the potential of saving my dog's life. We walk where there are coyotes and some other threatening animals, and I've always allowed my dogs to walk off leash as much as possible. This product works! I have not even had to use the shock treatment and so far just the beep and now and then the vibrate method is needed to get his attention. Other dog walkers don't always appreciate my young dog running up to them, laughing his head off, and wanting to play. So, he needs to learn to obey my commands. He's learning quickly! This is a very humane and precise way to train a dog. Since we walk near a canal, my dog is in the water a lot. The collar is truly waterproof. It recharges quickly and the directions are easy to understand. The collar is extremely easy to use and is most effective. I highly recommend this way of training a dog.

The controls are nice and easy to understand. It's not a 'cheaply' looking model either. I have had other dog trainers for hunting dogs but this was for our standard schnauzer so I did not feel we needed a high-tech, high range trainer. I thought by getting this model that recharging the units would be better than a battery operated one. I was having to recharge the collar more often than I thought, there is no easy on/off bottom, and the units were taking too long to 'sync' up. We also do not like that there is no warning that the batteries are going low. We do not use the commands often but will have it on when we go boating. We are happy with the water proof aspect of both the collar and the remote. I felt that we were recharging the units too much and syncing was taking too long. When customer service found out about the problems we were having they were excellent to work with; quick responses, helpful and very reasonable.

Fresh out of the box, the receiver will charge and other times does not charge at all. The light never changed showing fully charged after 24 hours when it did light up. Contacted iPets first and received a message stating, "Everyone is out the office for the weekend but we will contact you on Monday when we return." I purchased a 4 year warranty with Amazon but just a heads up: iPets warranty = 1 Year. It is extended for 3 Years, only if you REGISTER it online. Please register if you buy one and intent on keeping it because they will only give your money back after 30 days. Best bet, buy the 4 year from Amazon. In the pics, the receiver plug was pushed in as far as it will go but it doesn't go in as far as the remote.

This is our second iPets remote collar and have found it incredibly useful when training our puppy. He wears it when off leash in new situations and with one beep from the collar he knows his boundaries. I was really hesitant at first to use a “shock” collar but quickly realized we don’t even need to use the shock feature. 90% of the time, a beep is enough to stop the behavior and only if our puppy isn’t listening then he gets the vibrate option.The second collar we ordered had an issue charging but I contacted iPets and they quickly sent a replacement.
