BE WARNED, THESE ARE NOT SILICONE LINED - contrary to what the listing says!!I ended up purchasing these twice - when the first ones arrived and clearly did not have any silicone, I figured maybe they'd just made an error. Needing a product that was available with Prime, but finding extremely limited choices for this particular item, I ended up (stupidly) just trying again, hoping they'd get it right. They didn't.I started to use these beads anyway, but am VERY glad I stopped after just a dozen strands or so! Because they don't have the silicone lining to protect the hair (and decrease slip) you're literally using needlenosed pliers to smash a tiny piece of unfinished metal in half, tightly around an already very tiny strand of your own hair, WITH another piece of metal in the middle! It's like a teeny tiny little car crash with your hair in the middle! If I'd tried to keep these things in for any length of time, I have no doubt they would have done serious damage. Just trying to remove the few I applied was extremely difficult and anxiety-inducing; none of the beads actually bent back in the opposite direction, like what you experience on a larger scale with the micro beads. When I could finally get each bead positioned to "un-crimp" it (getting it to stop slipping from between the pliers was no easy task) the only way they released was because they broke into tiny pieces, many took strands of my hair with them.This is a long review for what probably seems like a totally inconsequential item, but I'm sure I'm not the only person who has made this mistake because they didn't know. Hopefully this will help prevent another DIY-er from having to deal with the same headache, and damage!

DO NOT USE THESE!!!!! I used them for my nano put extensions with the recommended crimping tools. Upon take these extensions out and uncrimping the bead the edges of the bead wouldn’t release and essentially cut hundreds of hairs off my head I had three different sections that were inside the bead that completely fell off when uncrimping. Please understand, where I had these extensions in for about 2 days. The hair that I got didnt work for what I needed. This was not natural shedding this was clear breakage from being crimped inside the beads. Buyer beware.

This is not what it clains to be. It days silicon lined nano beads. I ordered a pack of 500 and a client ordered another pack. Out of 1000 beads there was 1 silicon lined bead. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE FALSE ADVERTISERS

I won't be buying again. The size and color were perfect. However these were listed as silicone lined and they are not. I tried them anyway. I have fine hair.. but a lot of it! This was my first time using micro/nano beads. They seemed to hold great. But I wasn't happy with my placement so I went to take them out after only having them in a few hours and it was extremely difficult to remove!! It removed my actual hair. Not just a few pieces of my actual hair but one spot in particular it removed all the hair I had in with the bead (if that makes sense). My hair is very healthy and I feel foolish for even using these knowing they weren't silicone lined. I would not recommend!

I know these seem affordable but do not buy them because they are not silicone lined I just wasted my time and money buying these from this merchant! Also the bag seems short! There is no way there is 500 beads in this tiny little bag!

Very small but honestly much better for what I needed. I use feathers and only need 5-10 pieces of hair to put into the bead with the feather to have exactly what I’m looking for: no bulk, no noticeable beads that don’t match your root color (red head), no more 50 pieces of hair taking up a larger area and causing more accidental snags from the brush, and no more pulling on hair strange when putting hair down to up. They are perfect but not for all uses. I wouldn’t use for anything with a tip larger than a needle. The feather ends are as thin a thread.

The silicone slides out of the ring and the hair stylist had more difficulty using these than another brand. She recommended I not her these in the future! This make the process slower and more likely that your hair strand is pulling on the scalp.

I use these for microbeading hair extensions and I can say that they have held up to the test of time! The silicone lining is perfect for adding protection to the hair and actually extends the life on the extensions themselves, the bonds of the hair, and allows the user to wear them longer without worrying about pieces falling out. I would recommend these to anyone doing extensions and will be using them myself on my clients on a regular basis.

Good
