Family Christmas Time Story
What a lovely story! I truly enjoyed the family dynamic and found the interaction between them hysterical! Great dialogue especially when Nana Jean added her two-cents! The setting was beautiful and added to the warm Christmas vibes. I really enjoyed this book right to the end!

Thoughtful family drama
Snowed in for Christmas, by Sarah Morgan, is a family fiction novel that examines family dynamics with an introspective look at each character’s particular personalities, background, history and motivations that affect their work, life choices and interpersonal relationships. The story has a touch of romance and elements of Christmas, but it’s really more about people and what makes them tick.I found Snowed in for Christmas compelling and interesting, as well as heart-warming. I was drawn to the family and their close bonds, despite their very understandable differences and issues. I also really enjoyed the unique and varied characters and their individual stories and personality quirks.I do think the novel would have been better if it had been shorter. About a third of the way through it began to feel rather repetitive and the pace and plot slowed. There was a case of insta-love which was surprising given one character’s history, but it was a still sweet and the story as a whole was endearing, feel-good and thoughtful and I enjoyed it.

Snowed in for Christmas
This is the perfect cozy up book. Full of family and unspoken love and to afraid to let others know how they feel but after all its Christmas a magical time to be with family, friends and the people who mean the most. My favorite character is nanna Jean , she is a warm hug even if you don't need one. A must Christmas cozy up with cocoa. Enjoy

Wonderful
I never miss getting a Sarah Morgan book when they come out, although sometimes it takes me a while to read them as I have a bazillion books on my Kindle. This book was the perfect Christmas read. I was expecting something different when I started reading, as from the summary of the book, I thought it was going to be all about Lucy and her romance with Ross. But it turns out that Lucy is one of four narrators of this book, and each one had an involving story of her own. Really terrific. And one I will be rereading in a few days.

No Surprises
I enjoyed the book but there was a little too much psychology and not enough of the Scottish Highlands in the book. Scotland is magical and that could have made the book so much better. There was no local flavor, no Scottish accents, no Scottish Christmas traditions...NO BAGPIPIES! I was disappointed.

All is well that ends well
I like stories that show all the sides of human nature. However, it can be annoying when adults act like angsty teenagers. Insecurity is not a good look. The story won me over though because it ended with true love and happily ever after.

So real and so wonderful
Sarah Morgan’s books are always deep, meaningful and therapeutic. This book was no different. I became emotionally connected to certain characters and the family drama was entertaining. Each character becomes a real person who you can relate to and empathise with. Five full stars.

Absolutely fabulous!
Sarah Morgan has done it again – I didn’t think she could improve on last year’s Christmas story, but this is her best one yet. I absolutely loved it! It was one of those books where you can’t wait to finish to see how it ends, but at the same time you are devastated to have to leave this fictional world. There is plenty of family drama, lots of delicious romance and some wonderful characters, all set against the backdrop of a gorgeous country house in the wilds of Scotland. I think my favourite character was the grandmother, Nanna Jean, whose outspoken comments had me laughing out loud. I hope I can be like her when I’m old! One of the heroines, Lucy, has no family left and is dreading Christmas, but when she ends up spending it with the Miller family everything changes. She’s an outsider but they make her feel welcome and included, and it was incredibly heart-warming. And although the family may seem perfect to her, they are far from it with tensions and undercurrents rife. Daughters of the house, Alice and Clemmie, have their own problems and heartache, and I felt for them as they fought for what they wanted. Being snowed in proves to be a blessing, as they are given the chance to work through their problems rather than run away from them. I was rooting for all of them every step of the way and couldn’t have put this book down if my life depended on it! Highly recommended.
