It is salty and seaweedy, exactly what I wanted.

I love this product especially when it comes to making vegan dishes that mock actually fish. It allows my actual fish creations to come to life from ceviche to whiting. When you combine the seasoning with dry seaweed sheets; it's amazing. Highly recommend to all the vegans out there that love fish.

Great way for me to get iodine in my diet. It is a great value because very little is needed just a few times a week to supplement my nutrition.Read the portion size on the label. Be aware that if you douse it on like salt on a pretzel your food will have a grainy texture and taste like fish. If you like the sounds of that then go for it 😆.I will be buying the kelp granules again!

I trust this company and the quality of their products, but I think the price is too high for such a small amount of seaweed.

Good salt replacement especially in making soups or broth I use both this kelp along with the same brand of dulse flakes and then I used to add a small amount of sea salt to a bowl of soup too, but now that I've gotten used to the flavor I don't need to add any sea salt. The sea vegetables are somewhat of an acquired taste. Yes, this does have iodine in it too and is good for your thyroid. I still supplement with nascent iodine even though I eat a fair amount of dulse and spirulina daily. I have recently seen progress on my hypothyroid condition, my doctor checks it a couple times a year and just lowered my dose of Armour Thyroid earlier this week. This kelp is a much better price here than at the health food store, at least in my city. As far as the dulse, swanson vitamins dot com usually has a good price on the four ounce bags.
