Better Than Expected, Mostly for Aesthetic Prints
I finally got around to trying this filament after avoiding it due to mixed reviews. More on that later. I can't speak for other colours, but this Peanut filament is great. The main attractions of this filament are the aesthetics and sustainability. The surface is heavy matt, more so than any filament I've tried. This makes it really nice to touch, almost like one of those matt anti-slip coffee cups. It's just nice! The matt finish also helps hide the layers which is great for prints that will be left as-is without painting or coating. The downsides are mainly mechanical properties. Although the plastic appears more ductile than average PLA, and may have good impact resistance as a result; layer adhesion, and overall strength doesn't seem as high. For this reason I would recommend not using this filament for practical prints which need to endure stress or wear, but anything aesthetic on light-duty is fair game. From reading negative reviews it seems that a major problem people may be having is with moisture absorption. The addition of other biomaterials to this PLA could be leading to higher percentages of moisture, which to be blunt, most hobbyists aren't aware of or equipped to deal with. Moisture can cause all sorts of issues, from bubbles and popping, extrusion irregularity, and weakened adhesion or material strength. PLA isn't usually a highly hydroscopic material, but I recommend that anyone planning to print this filament invest in a filament dryer. I dried my spool and results have been good so far.I love the colour and finish of peanut, and I think I'll be keeping a few rolls of it on hand from now on.

Mixed bag of experiences. Overall good.
My experiences with this filament have been up and down. I initially ordered the Matte Lava Red and had a phenomenal experience with it. I tried to re-order the same filament and ended up accidentally picking up the army red, which is by far the worst filament I have used to date (~2-3 years of 3D printing). It's the only filament that I can't get to stick to my PEI print bed. The print quality is noticeably bad, even for draft parts.I also tried the Matte Earth Brown and the Matte Pastel Banana and both of those were okay as well. I think that there is something wrong with the Army Red formulation or perhaps I got a bad batch. The cardboard spool is great for the environment but not good for the filament dry boxes I designed to work with rollers. It's significantly more challenging to design a roller for this style of spool since the inside is hollow. Having said that, it's not impossible and a change I will have to make to my dry boxes as cardboard spools become more commonplace.Overall, I would recommend it, but probably stay away from Army Red.

Not strong, not great adhesion, and tangled.
I had high hopes for this one, the matte finish is nice but if you need strength at all in even the smallest amount its very much not strong. When cooled its only about 2/3rds as strong as Anycubic PLA and the adhesion isn't great either. Also, halfway through a print I heard a noise and looked to see that the wrapping of the filament on the spool was faulty causing it to get caught.I realize its made from corn and more environmentally friendly but making a product more environmentally friendly is only good if it doesn't reduce the usefulness of it, which it does in this case. I printed the torture toaster using it and the hand snapped off after putting the toast up, with very little force. Anyways, I just won't be buying this again and will use the rest on non-functional prints.

*UPDATED* like facebook status, its complicated
**********UPDATE*************The company reached out to me to make things right and asked for the spool batch number so they can run an internal quality check and talk to their engineering deparment about the issues I had and said they would keep me informed of what happens.Take everything from here down how you will I am updating this reveiw to reflect the evolving situation and part of the resolution was a credit for the spool I purchased. They also credited my purchase of the one wood matte roll, and asked that I keep them informed of how the other rolls I bought on prime day but havent used yet work-out for me.At this point it seems my issues with the roll may have been a one off or batch specific issue, unclear yet, and I do like the enviromental aspects of this product using recycled materials for packaging and planting a tree per spool purchased. I no longer say avoid this product due to the nature and thoroughness of the mutiple emails ive had over this issue, that they clearly stand behind and belive in their prodcut and value customer's and their feedback.Original reveiw below.*********************Had to large diamtre prints with hexagon voids contained eith in an 8inch diamter circle. First print worked fine some not perfect brims and supports but overall worked fine.Tried to print the exact smae thing agin same roll same print file had 3 failures with the first layer/brim failing.Changed the model to not have cylinder feet and just be one solid peice had more failures and warping.Changed model again and put initial layer/brim speed to 10mm/s down from 15mm/s still have what appears to be bubling and non adhesion and warping of the brim. Temp 200c bed temp 60c. Printer is an Anycubic MegaX only about 6 months old.Havent had these issues with other filament.

I am a beginner so I haven’t tried all the other brands but this one prints amazingly well
I am new to printing and the only other brand I’ve tried is ERYONE, which was also very easy to work with. I was reluctant to switch since everything was going great with ERYONE filament, but I saw this peanut colour from Polymaker and for $6-7 less thought I would try it. It prints very well and adheres to the bed easily, maybe even a bit better than ERYONE. Comes vacuum sealed as you would expect, and includes a resealable bag which Is nice. The roll didn’t seem as nicely spooled as the ERYONE - you can see the blue ERYONE roll, which is loose after taking out of my printer, compared to the still sealed Polymaker. The ERYONE didn’t have any crossing over at all when it was sealed / still looks nicer even when loose. I don’t think this matters much because the Polymaker is still spooled well, just a small thing I noticed. Also like that they are using cardboard spools for the environment. Not sure if the sticker that says ‘this product plants one tree’ meant to say ‘saves one tree’, but a nice sentiment in general lol. Overall a great filament for the price and would recommend to others. Using a V6 clone hotend with a nozzle temperature of 205. Stock magnetic bed on and Ender 3 Pro.
