I have owned sveral trimmers over the year, but this by far the best. It's the only trimmer i could find with a charging base. No messing with connecting cords. It is still as sharp as the day i bought it. A year and a half after buying it i had an issue with it not taking a charge. I had a brief conversation on mygotee website and when i told them of the issue the unit was replaced without a problem. They even shipped it to me with no shipping charges.

Update:After posting the below review, I reached out to the company via their website's general email on a Saturday morning. Within an hour, I received a response from the owner that I'd be receiving a replacement guard at no charge and it's in the mail as I type this. I really don't know what more I could have asked other than for him to hand deliver the package to me!Original Review:I've bought the trimmer on Jan 2nd and on Aug. 28th the guard broke. For the past 8 months it's been the best trimmer I've ever owned... and I've gone through a lot of them. The best feature is the battery life. I trim my short beard every 3-4 days and I charged the clippers every 6-8 weeks. With the battery life digitally displayed, there's no fear that it'll run out while I'm traveling for work. I typically didn't even pack the charger.I would highly suggest that a more protective travel pouch be provided. The guard broke in their pouch inside my checked baggage and I'm afraid the clippers are now useless to me. I love the trimmer, but can't find a replacement guard. I would highly recommend this product for home, but definitely not travel.

I bought this in February 2022. 1 year later, it no longer works. It wont even turn on. Started flashing a Heart symbol 2-3 months ago, but eventually would turn on. Now, it won't even turn on. Just starts flashing that heart symbol for 1/2 to 1 second. Also, doesn't trim facial hair close enough unless using the the actual shaver piece, which doesnt allow for accurate and precise trimming. Due to it malfunctioning in less than 1 year, I do not recommend this product. I have other trimmers that I've had for many years which work better and they cost less.Update: after writing the above review, the owner found me on Linked-In and quickly replaced the product and stayed in contact with me until I received it. Great customer service from the top of the company. A+

Great for everyday use just keep clean and charged it works great

I've had this unit for about 2 1/2 yrs. No complaints. Everything you could possibly need is included.Turned out, the attachment i used the most wouldnt stay in place anymore, as it had probably stretched out a bit from taking it off and on so much. I recalled lots of reviews stressing the customer service, and contacted them. Immediate response from the owner, and a replacement sent out the next day., free of charge.Not only the great trimmer, but customer service that one can only find with a small business these days.Well worth taking a look at if you're in the market for a trimmer.

First off I would like to say the trimmer is exactly what I was hoping for. It fits the hand well is light and is very sharp. For about 45 years I have owned and operated two very small businesses. To this day providing fair and honest customer support is key I think to any business. We all experience issues with things we purchase or services that are being provided. I was experiencing a small issue with my trimmer and contacted Scott, the owner of this company. His response and resolve to the issue was first rate! If needed I would have no problem shopping with him again. I would also recommend this trimmer to my friends without hesitation.

I’ve had less than one year and it won’t turn on although it shows that it’s 100% charged. I only used it once or twice per week. Very disappointed. Keep looking don’t buy this poor quality product

This thing is extremely frustrating. The guards pop off so easily. If I’d known, I wouldn’t have bought it.

I have had this trimmer for a year. At first it was a great trimmer. Battery reads 100 but after about 15mins the battery completely drains. Will definitely not last years and years as stated in the description.I have been shaving my head and face for over 30 years and have gone through countless trimmers phillips, gillette... these brands do not compare to this trimmer (My perfect goatee)and the service and Personal responsibility the company takes to insure...

I did not rate the battery life as in my case, for a year the battery life was excellent but then would not hold a charge for more than a minute or two.What I can say however is that customer service, for replacing the trimmer because of that issue, was extremely courteous and speedy, as I promptly received a replacement, at no charge, once I reported the issue to the manufacturer.I am very happy with how MyPerfectGoatee handled the battery issue.The rest of trimmer itself is amazing, with a good variety of heads for different trimming needs.

Ive been using this trimmer for awhile and have had some good experience and not so good. The trimmers work okay...I find I have to keep going over the area to trim all the hairs. I really wanted the set for the body hair trimmer and it doesn't work. It pulls my hairs out all the time and gets painful. I'm an engineer and I have to say that trimmers that have a slower speed and wider spaces between the clipper teeth work better. These trimmers have beautiful fine teeth and sonic speed, but I think this hurts the trimming. I believe the hairs aren't able to fit efficiently through the trimmers and aren't being trimmed in one pass. The problem exists with all the trimmers, so it just takes longer to trim hair.
