Q: How far does it stick off the the wall

From the wall to the end of the handle is 35 cm (13.75”).

Q: What is the hose capacity for 3/4" garden hose?

it is 100 ft, but I have 100 on it and wish I had a 75 instead. 100 just seems too much, too heavy. Also, I am using black rubber hose, a thinner hose might work better.

Q: Is it FDA approved for drinking water?

Unknown. We have reclaimed water, so I don't think it would be approved for that.
