Only time will tell as far as durability goes.After receiving, I immediately looked for the logo I had read so much about (including Serman Brands seller urging to verify logo for genuine product). I wasn't too concerned even if it did have a visible logo, as the money clip is in your pocket most of the time anyway. How important is a slightly visible logo (on the back of clip) anyway? I did not see a logo on mine so contacted the seller. I received a prompt reply concerning the logo:"We removed the S|B and left the SERMAN BRANDS. We changed the colors to a dark gray to make the logo a little less visible and blend in with the money clip. The logo is on the back on the clip on the very bottom, it is almost invisible. A lot of our customers asked us to make the logo less visible."I was still concerned about receiving a genuine product because I did not see a log on mine. However, after several minutes of looking in a well lit area and holding at just the right angle, I was finally able to barely see/read the logo. If you hold at a slightly different angle you can't see it. I was amazed. I was specifically looking for it and I still had a hard time seeing the logo. Truth be told, it is basically invisible on mine (Matte). You'll never know it's there.I look forward to many years of use.

It’s a money clip that does money clip things and works like a money clip should.

I checked around for a money clip, obviously. Saw some cheaper ones where people were downright certain that it was simply plastic although advertised as carbon. I believe this to be genuine and therefor worth the slight markup. I live in a country where the largest bill is less than 10 dollar worth, so we walk around with rather large stacks of notes. As I am writing, I have 21 bills folded in half and I am sure that I could add a few more. I can take all the notes out and just insert one note and the bill stays set inside the clip, meaning that there is no loss of tension/grip.The carbon itself is very nice looking and light, the slight curve to aid with insertion is convenient, yet low profile enough to not bother. There is in the current light setting no obvious to me branding on the clip. I would most certainly purchase another one in case I would lose this one. Recommended if you are looking for a quality clip.

Sept 2017 ** After 5 months, still great but it did stretch a little after a few days having A LOT of CCs and $bills in it. The front and back were not extended beyond parallel so I thought it would have retained full spring back. I originally rated 4-star and left it 4-star because 3 would have been too low, maybe 3.5 now. It still looks almost brand new with keys and coins in the same pocket.April 2017 ** I just received it but I love it so far. I've been using money clips for maybe 30ish years and this seems like the best so far. The thin and light carbon fiber is the best, that's why I went to money clips so long ago was less weight and less bulk. The gold/black looks sharp but I'm afraid the gloss finish will get scratched up easily but the gold I think will look better than the matte black.My issue has always been, over time the constant open/close of inserting money and removing it wears on the curved part of the clip and breaks there eventually. Time will tell, I'm going for longevity, especially since it's exactly what I want.Some others have mentioned and complained about the "S|B SERMAN BRANDS" logo but on my unit, it's barely noticeable unless in the exact right light SEE PHOTO.The only reason for the 4-star rating, and not 5, is the unit was apparently manufactured in lengthy sheets and shaped and cut one by one leaving minor jagged edges, mostly on the inside surface around the unit but still where it will be touched when inserting money and cards back into it.

I have 3 of these in a variety of color/finish (all quite smooth). They hold cash, credit cards &/or business cards in what I have found in a protectively fashion and readily available. They fit well in front pocket pockets of jeans and slacks (jacket/blazer breast pocket if that is your choice) with just (quite light) enough weight to maintain there load securely at the bottom of your chosen pocket.

Beautiful and functional. Can't believe they can make this with spring characteristics (or it's not only made of carbon fiber).

This is my first ever money clip as I've ditched my wallet in favor of a cell phone case to hold credit card. Carbon fiber sounded quality and light, and it is both. The issue is.... it is so light, it can easily slip out of your pocket, and you won't know until you go to pay for something! I will be looking for a slightly heavier clip.

Good Quality
