Loved it

Beautifully illustrated and re-told version of the classic. My 3 year old son enjoys it.

This version of LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD from Nosy Crow has most of the key elements of the original story, but with some modern sensibilities. In this version, Red helps out several creatures along her way to Grandma's house and arrives with several tools she doesn't have in other versions of the story. She's able to outsmart the Big Bad Wolf and rescue her Grandma without any major violence. I really enjoyed the illustrations by Ed Bryan. They accompany the text perfectly and help these Nosy Crow versions stand out.

This book is big and has beautiful graphics. It has just enough words to make a substantial bedtime story but not too many (if you know what I’m saying). Suitable gift for a preschooler.

Cute story. Modern take on the original, less violent. Beautiful illustrations. Opens the door to all kinds of discussions.
