YoMeiJun Men's Belt Handmade Vegetable Tanned Leather Belt Adjustable

Bought this to go with the Cole Haan Men's Williams Captoe II Oxford, British Tan shoes. The color is pretty close. Nicer than I expected. They make it so you trim it yourself to the proper length. I found that using a sharp knife on a cutting board works better than scissors to keep a straight edge. (The added bonus of cutting it this way is you have tiny belt strips that sprinkle nicely over a salad ;) )

Nice quality belt for the price! Fast shipping and nice packaging. Loved the adjustable feature: just unclip, cut to the desired length with regular scissors, and clip back on. The owner Yo Mei Jun even wrote a personal card thanking and requesting any feedback (or at least signed with her name).

I almost needed a manual to put together the latch to the belt, but a leap of faith later and I had an excellent, study, high quality belt. It has a leather exterior with a particle mash interior. I've worn the belt for quite a time now, and have only noticed slight stretching and wrinkling at the loop I use from the buckle - all other belts I've tried I would be thinking about replacing about now, but this one has held very strong.Reversible, resizeable, and does not have the same failure point as other reversible belts. I don't think I would ever consider a different style belt in the future. An excellent investment.

When I first tried the belt after receiving it, I was concerned that it was too long (and very much so), even though I purchased the smallest size. However, I am a small person, and the seller did include a picture detailing how the belt could be trimmed. I will say, if you have never trimmed a belt before and do not have the right tools, it can be a hassle.The trimming picture included with the belt shows a scissors cutting the belt; however, my regular household scissors could not cut through the leather. So I had to use a pair of small garden trimmers to cut through the leather. They couldn't cut all the way across the belt cleanly, so I had to start cutting on one side of the belt and then cut from the other side. The garden trimmers cut smoothly through the leather on top, but not the backing behind the leather. So I finished the cut with my scissors.It took me a little while to determine the correct length for my belt, so I had to repeat the cutting process several times. However, it now fits me well. While it was initially too long, the belt now fits me better than some other belts which I cannot trim. So being able to trim the belt is a convenient feature I didn't initially appreciate.The quality of the belt seems good; the leather feels real and the color closely matches the Amazon picture (I have the tan color). Also, the buckle is sturdy, and while simplistic in design, it retains its shine well. All in all, I am satisfied with this belt so far.

Belt was a little longer than expected, but the nice thing about it was that you can cut it down to the length that you need according to your size. Color match was very close to what you see in the pictures!
