Great coat!
I live in Central WA, and we get a true 4 seasons. With the interchange system that Columbia has, this jacket will work well with all the seasons with the exception of Summer, when a coat is not needed, unless it rains, which is pretty rare in Summer.I like to wear just the inner puffy coat layer when it's cold but dry. It's super lightweight, but still keeps me warm as it seems to have great insulation. The Omnitech liner is pretty sweet. That coupled with the polyfill or whatever they use, it is nice. The outer puffy coat layer seems to block wind well. It's your typical Nylon type fabric. It has pockets that are lined with a soft material, so it feels good and keeps the hands warm.I like to wear just the outer shell if it's raining but temps aren't freezing. It blocks water well and has hood that can be detached. Has several pockets and the main hand pockets are also soft lined in the outer shell, so keeps the hands warm and dry. When it's really cold or snowy, I wear the full inner/outer combo. The inner coat zips into the outer shell. There are also button fasteners that hook up to the sleeve cuffs and the top of the neck to keep the inner and outer shell cohesive. This combo will keep you warm and dry in even harsh conditions.Another plus is that this jacket looks nice enough to wear in an office/work setting.Sizing is great. I'm a big guy and typically wear 3xl is most brands. In the big n tall sizing, the 2xl was perfect for me. I'm about 5'11", 285

Runs small, get a size up!
I ordered one size larger than I thought I'd need and it paid off, it fits perfectly.Extremely warm and versatile, easy to take the liner out and zip it back in.

Great Coat
I bought this coat for my husband for Christmas. I wanted him to have a nice warm winter coat, because he's been running around in a 35 year old light weight Spring/Summer London Fog, and is cold all of the time. I have been a fan of Columbia for years, and have several Columbia jackets myself. They didn't have the color or size on the Columbia web page, so bought it from Amazon. His dad picked out this style first, and then he got the same style. He likes the length, the color, the pockets, the warmth, and the lining. He's very short, so the sleeves are a little long and he has to roll them up or go and get them hemmed from a professional, (If they can even do that) and he doesn't care for the hood. But that's why he bought this style so he could remove the hood unless there is a storm. (It's been snowing a lot in Colorado lately and is super cold, so the hood has been attached to the jacket.)

Extremely Excellent performance Product
Purchase this product without any hesitation. Size is perfect. Use in Snow, Rain and Winter. Big size pockets are very useful to keep the stuff needed while we're out of the house. Very sturdy product. Inner Jacket is warm too. Can be worn in both ways, with or without the inner or outer Jackets.

Warm and great wind resistance!
Was waiting for the right westher conditions to really assess this coat, and since its been sub zero windchills the last couple of days i can definitely say that with proper layering this coat performs admirably! Also, a little over a month ago we had a really heavy rain storm and the water proofing was excellent. Love all the huge pockets too, i dont drive so i carry a lot of stuff on me. My only real complaint is that the liner sleeves arnt attached to anything so its tough to take off without the sleeves coming out. Im in that weird size zone (5'7",170# where medium is often too small, so i ordered a large because i add several layers and the overall fit is good, but the sleeves are a bit long.

My husband looks very handsome in it
I bought this for my husband a couple of years ago and it still looks as good as new. The size is true to the chart, very lightweight, warm and perfect for city use. He uses it in mild winter and autumn. This year we are going skiing and we will see how it stands!

Cold
This is my first comment "Beautiful winter coat. It is too large for me, but the quality is great". I have now had a chance to use it in cold weather, it is TERRIBLE. The foil liner draws the heat away from your body, the moisture escaping from your preparation condenses on the foil making your clothing damp. It may be ok on the Prairies where they get a dry cold, but here in the east cost it does not live up to expectations. My last Colombia coat I had for 20 years (the zipper finally failed) so I was really disappointed with this coat.

Parfait
