After finally getting tired of straps falling off my yoga mat I invested in this bag and I'm not sorry I did.It's sturdy and the design is stunning. My mat is extra thick (1.5cm) and a smidge longer than most and although I need to wrap it up tight, it fits in this bag fine. Regular mats will have no problems! There's also space at the top to pop in a couple of small extra bits like a phone and purse as the ad suggests.There are two pockets, one flush against the mat which zips up and another that expands out from it, which is secured with velcro. Given what a tight fit my mat is I mainly use the velcro pocket and even without a zip, it's pretty secure.The carry strap can be lengthened or shortened, so you can carry however you like. I lengthen it right out and carry my mat across my back to leave my hands free. Perfect for walking to class!Really impressed with this.

Love the design on the front. Plenty of room for mat, plus small towel. Also outside zip part for keys and another external part for bottle or phone. Have a 73cm wide mat and this fits in with a few inches to spareZipper, strap good quality and very easy to carry

Very happy with this bag. Long zip making it easy to put a mat in. Several little pockets for odds. I’ve only had it a few months but it seems well made.

I looked at everything I could find the get a good bag that suited my needs , This went from a straight forward mat bag to something that would carry clothes , a block , with a wet compartment , I researched everything, in the end for me I wanted a bag that would carry a mat , car keys , membership card , also something that folded down to fit in a locker , I noticed there are some that top load which I thought would be fractionally harder to load and get out and felt the ones with a full length zip either with a u shape zip or full length and straight across the end were best to just drop the mat in without chafing on the zip with a soft rubberised yoga mat , I wanted a bag that would hook on my shoulder vertically which I think is much easier to carry without catching cars, doors, turnstiles and people, The Gonex was reasonably priced and the biggest influence was customer rating at 82% - 5 star, I didn't want a cheap item where the zip breaks in 6 months time and very few had that kind of ratingNot the best choice of colours , I bought the blue as it was the most subtle when it arrived it is ideal I hope this helps you choose what's beat for youI'd buy again

I have a long extra thick Jade yoga matt and an extra knee mat. They fit perfectly inside this bag. Zips all the way down so no shoving and pushing to get into the bag. good zipper. sturdy material, looks water resistant (inside of fabric is shiny but not rubbery...where my rubber mat would have more friction against it) Have used maybe 6-8 times so far and still very happy. Nice pouch on outside for extra things. Strap is sturdy too.

I've been using this bag for a few weeks now I'll go to yoga four times a week and so far it seems to be a good quality if it's my mat nicely has a few pockets for smaller items so I'm happy with the product!! I chose the peacock design and it's exactly as it looks in the photos. The customer service people reached out to me because they were worried about possibility of their item being late, but that was not the case (I was not worried at all), but it arrived on time. Either way, they were very courteous and I appreciated the 'heafs up' communication.

Theoretisch hätte ich keine Tasche für meine Yogamatte benötigt, praktisch habe ich allerdings eine verrückte Katze, die mir meine neue Korkmatte binnen zwei Tagen zerstört hätte....Also war sie eben doch notwendig.Da ich allerdings kein Heidengeld ausgeben wollte, nur um meine Matte vor Krallen zu schützen, oder sie mal mit zu einer Freundin für eine gemeinsame Yogaeinheit zu nehmen, bin ich auf die Suche gegangen und am Ende bei genau dieser Tasche kleben geblieben.Davon ab, dass ich die Farbe und die Ornamente wirklich toll finde (Farbe satt, Ornamente gestochen scharf), war auch das Material ausschlaggebend. Robust und wasserabweisend, zudem gut verarbeitet. Die Nähte sind sauber, der Reißverschluss klemmt nicht und geht wirklich die komplette Länge entlang, so dass das Einpacken der Matte absolut stressfrei ist (meine ist 183x66x0.7cm). Matte passt super rein, es bleibt sogar noch ein bisschen Luft oben übrig. Die Klamotten kann man in die gerollte Matte stecken. Die kleinen Täschchen sind auch praktisch für den allgegenwärtigen Klimbim (Handy, Schlüssel, Kleinzeugs eben). Weitere Sachen, wie z.B. Yogablöcke, passen allerdings nicht rein (ich habe keine, dachte aber, ich erwähne es mal, sollte es jemand wissen wollen).Der Schultergurt ist einstellbar, aber nicht abnehmbar.Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut.Wer eine schöne, im Verhältnis wirklich günstige und robuste Tasche für seine Matte sucht, ist hier gut beraten.Eine Freundin hat sie sich in Blau mit Pfau zugelegt auf meine Empfehlung. Ist heute bei ihr angekommen und sie ist ebenfalls begeistert. Und auch bei ihrer Tasche: saubere Nähte, leichtgängiger Reißverschluss, alles exakt so gut, wie bei meiner Tasche.Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits.
