Excellent ultralight poles
These are super. Very light weight. It takes a couple of hikes/runs to learn how tight to adjust. Great price for killer poles.

Great Poles!
Very lightweight and durable. Used them on the AT and they worked perfectly, I also used them with my trekking pole tent. They were easy to adjust and I would recommend them to others.

Unbeatable Ultralight Aluminum Trekking Poles
These are the poles recommended by Durston specifically as best for use with their X-Mid tents. I actually bought them before even considering the tent because the price-to-weight ratio seemed unbeatable. I was not at all disappointed! For aluminum, these things are light enough to contend with the popular carbon fiber poles on the market. Further, they will bend rather than break on the off chance you jam them deep between two rocks as just so happened to me in Rocksylvania, in fact. Of course now the one bent pole won't fully collapse, so when I need to take them down, I just pull that segment out completely.I never had to replace these poles (I still use them now) and they are one of the most used pieces of gear on a hike. In addition to the bend, I wore the carbide tips smooth. The ends where they connect also built up a good bit of salt and dirt that has caused them to bind up more now. The handles have darkened from sweat and dirt, but never fell apart. These use a twist lock feature which is a big help for keeping them light. However, they may slip a bit when subjected to hard stops or used to catch a fall. The twist lock is more convenient, I think, when setting up a trekking pole tent when compared to a latching pole. Even with the few drawbacks listed above, I would absolutely buy a new pair of these to replace my current set for a future long hike.

Love them!
I just had a SECOND knee replacement (not quite 3 months ago) in the SAME knee. I'm 60. I purchased this brand- from recommendations online. They're lightweight and I have been able to hike long distances and traverse uneven terrain using them! I e used them wading in creeks and rivers, too! They come with different tips. Because of these, I'm able to continue outdoor activities I was doing prior to surgery!

super light, incredibly comfortable
These are so light, but sturdy. Make sure you tighten the poles at the appropriate height so that they don't slip to a shorter height during your hike. The cork handles are very comfortable. I just completed a 40-mile, 3-day backpacking trip that wouldn't be possible without treking poles for balance. No blisters or hot spots on my hands even with heavy rain and hours of non-stop use.

Sleek, lightweight, sturdy, WORTHLESS
They are sleek and so light it's hard to believe, yet they seem quite sturdy. The grips are a little small, but the adjustable straps help to compensate; if you use them right they sort of "grip you back". I'd really like to give them five stars, but they tend to slip if you don't screw them down very tight. And if you're not careful, you'll screw them down so tight you can't unlock them. Happened to one of mine and I had to finish a 34-mile hike with short poles.UPDATE: Downgraded from four stars to one. I never was able to unstick my stuck pole. I researched it (there are whole web pages devoted to this problem) and tried everything. It will not budge. They are worthless to me now. Even if I could get it loose, I could never trust them again. I got maybe half a dozen day hikes out of them, and they're now garbage.

Price and value, but durability inverse to weight savings
I like to hike, and I have hiked a lot! My original poles were heavy and had literally worn out. I wanted lighter ones the second time around but could’t bring myself to spend $150 or more. Stumbled upon this brand and they seemed too good to be true. They are sort of tok good to be true, but also not.The price to performance brings a great value! The down side is that you may need to buy 2 pairs. I did. I fell and bent a pole beyond repair, so I had to buy a second set, but now I have a bunch of spare parts! So I am definitely coming out ahead innthe long run. ^_^

Solid trekking poles
This are a very good set of trekking poles. I choose aluminum or carbon fiber because it is a more durable material. I wouldn't want to be in the middle of a hike and have a broken trekking pole. Especially so if you have a tent that needs Trekking poles.

Lightweight and comfortable
Great compact and light trekking poles. Not the best of tall people (6'4 and up) / big hands. These only extend out to 130cm, whereas you might want to have 135-140cm when going downhill. Also, the grips at the top are a little more narrow/uncomfortable for larger hands/thumbs.

Meilleur rapport qualité-prix poids

Top!
I brought these on three trips now, and they are still going strong. I have had no issues with stability or breaking. Excellent value for money!
