Great stuff from two deep scholars.Unfortunately it's advertised as The life and epistles of St. Paul. By the Rev. W. J. Conybeare ... and the Rev. J. S. Howson ...: Vol. 1 Volume 1 – but the book illustrated is actually Volume 2 and that's what was sent.I'll keep that anyway as I want both volumes - but I can't find Volume 1 - not yet anyway... I'll keep trying...

This work is earthy, easily understood. Translations are timely, accurate and illuminate deeper meanings of Holy Writ, bringing sharper understanding of God's Word. The work of the two authors is worthy of major attention of Bible students today, but not well known or studied. Reading this work has enlightenment found no where else. Work worthy of being tagged "scholarly."

This book is worth the read, it is not like the shallow me centered stuff you get today from most of the shallow me centered material found in many of our "christian" bookstores.
