With nearly 80 years in the business and hundreds of points of distribution in the U.S., Cole Haan is one of America's premier luxury brands. Founded in 1928 as a collaboration between Trafton Cole and Eddie Haan, Cole Haan epitomized artisan quality and impeccable craftsmanship during a time when style was everything. Originally, Cole Haan was a men's footwear label that captured the essence of the 20s spirit with beautifully-designed and well-made shoes for the dapper gentleman. Today, Cole Haan brings that heritage to all of its products, including men's and women's dress and casual footwear, belts, hosiery, handbags, small leather goods, outerwear and sunglasses.

Perfect, Highly recommend
Cole Haan's have a great reputation for a reason and these shoes are a prime example of how wonderful they truly are. They fit well. You can wear them from day one and they will be comfortable to have on all day. They look great with all sorts of clothes. They can be worn as dressy or casual. A great pair of shoes for all occasions.

Comfortable, but tight on the instep (top of the foot) so have a shoe form handy
The shoe is comfortable, also has a reinforced outer toe area, where other loafers I've owned tend to get scuffed or worn from use. One thing to keep in mind (at least for the pair I received) is the elastic on the top part of the shoe, where your instep (or place you would normally tie your shoelaces would be) is rather tight, and will likely open up with use - but it was painfully tight on first wearing - might be worth it to have a wood shoe form or shoe tree to help with stretching the elastic a bit. Other reviewers suggested the sole is a bit slippery, but that wasn't my experience on dry surfaces.

Always Quality
This is the fourth pair of these loafers I've owned over the years. I think they are a good value. They fit true to old shoe sizing (seems like the last 20 years, American shoe makers sizes are a half size too big, or at least a half size bigger than they used to be. I've been an 8 1/2 for years and have to order size 8 in a lot of brands. In Cole Haan, 8 1/2 still works perfectly. These are definitely dressy enough for business casual. They are comfortable and durable.

Good Quality Shoes
At first they were a little bit hard but after an hour or so they got adjusted according to my feet, I am happy with my purchase.

Disappointed. Doesn't appear the same quality.
I had originally bought this shoe from Macy's early last spring. My husband loved the fit and the comfort of the shoe. I actually went back to Macy's to repurchase another pair as a future replacement once he was ready. Macy's was out of stock on these, so I figured I'd try Amazon. And of course Amazon stocks them.Anyway, the problem lies in the shoes from Amazon. It appears as though these are not of the same quality of leather even though they are the same model. These are more lightweight and have more of a grainy, rough look as opposed to the smooth upper of the original pair.Don't get me wrong, they are still nice shoes, however I'm disappointed because I wanted the exact replacement. These look cheaper. Perhaps if I didn't have a previous pair I wouldn't know any better. I'm wondering if Cole Haan decided to make these cheaper...? My husband will wear these, but we will not buy these again.

Stiffer than expected but they work
The leather is pretty stiff even after wearing them a few months. Not what I expect from this brand. Styling is nice not like 99% of goofy white soled shoes. Grippy rubber knobbed soles. Fit is a little generous, they're serious about a 14.
