Be kind to your ears- use these to protect your hearing
These are awesome ear protectors with the highest decibel protection I have discovered. The unit is very comfortable and easily adjusted for maximum protection and comfort. These are very effective both at outdoor range and indoor range. They are easy to pack in range bag and clean up easily.

Just average in woodworking use.
I am a woodworker, not a shooter. In my use these work fine, but are not exceptional. I would say they are comparable to my other sets and types. One thing I found interesting is that these are advertised as being particularly effective at suppressing sharp noises, like a gunshot, while allowing conversation, etc. My experience has been the exact opposite. Conversation is quite difficult, while sharp noises (in my case that means a knot of wood banging through the impeller of my dust collection unit) are not handled as well as other headsets I own.

One of the leather pads looked like it had been replaced with a different type of ...
After several months of once a week light use, the right arm (where the U connector meets the headband) snapped when I was putting it on my head.Upon receipt, I noticed a few details were off. There was a small slash in one of the leather ear pads. Since it was cosmetic (and my first ear muffs which I needed at the time), I let it pass. One of the leather pads looked like it had been replaced with a different type of leather. The inconsistency made me wonder if 1) they were refurbished or 2) the quality of the item and quality control were not that great.Sad to say, I would not buy this item again.

Perfect
These are the perfect ear protection, whether in the shop or shooting. They are relatively heavy, but not unconfortable. They were a replacement for the Pro-ears Ultra Passive 33, which were terrible They are adjustable and do what I want them to do. I highly recommend them

I like the sound dampening they provide but twice
I gave these muffs two stars because both pairs that I bought just broke. I like the sound dampening they provide but twice, like I said, they just broke as I put them on. The break point was the bracket that attaches to the head band. One pair was irreparable; this second pair maybe -- I hope the super glue holds.

Good ear coverage and is comfortable
Does the job at the Range. Good ear coverage and is comfortable. The adjustability for the proper fit is very good.

Hearing protection, gun muffs
Good product. I wear them for multiple hours each day. They are not bulky or heavy. Best of all I can take them home after work and it makes my wife look like a silent movie when she's nagging at me. I can see her lips moving, but I don't have to be bothered by the noise. J/k although I'm sure they would work great to block out the spouse during those times, I choose to use a skill commonly known as selective hearing. I have been using them for a few months now. They seem well made and good value for the noise rating they provide.

Good, but not Always Good Enough
I have hyperacusis. I also wear glasses, which may affect the fit. I wear these with earplugs during everyday errands, but I don't wear these continuously. These help with a lot of the noise bombardment, but these still don't help enough with the skull-splitting incapacitating pain of the backup beepers. These are moderately uncomfortable, but no worse than other ear protectors.P.S. These snapped after 8 months.
