Lovely collection of techniques , ideas and tutorials by pastel masters. Pastel artists would love it. Step by step instructions are nice.

The step by step instructions for realizing the example works provided are useful for beginners as well as for more experienced artist. For example, I had not heard of using alcohol to fix the background painting. Interesting.

Great advice- I need some more practice and this book gives some very good advice to beginners or advanced students.

This is one of the most interesting painting books I've ever read. It offers you techniques, tools, to cover and perfect the color, as well as color suggestions for the background.Highly recommended.

Excellent book.

I am always buying informational books to support my hobbies and this is no exception. A useful reference book, good to keep at hand when you are pastel painting. It will get a lot of use from me.
