When the alarm light didn't turn on I had the unit replaced. On the replacement item, the alarm light came on but the alarm didn't work. After several minutes chatting with amazon customer service they eventually sent me to the seller where I simply asked if it was defective and if not, how to make it work. Got no response from the seller. Perhaps this feedback will.

Terrible product. It does nothing. Very upsetting.

Attempted to test on different camera that I was aware of where they were. One was a “spy” secret camera specifically and another was a regular security camera and one was a light bulb camera. It didn’t relaiably detect anything. The flashlight on it is bright.

I have tried it on the regular security camera. It's easy to see the red dot reflected back from the lens.I happened to have a small camera (seen in the first picture). It's quite effortless to spot it through the filtered glass.It sure is a working little tool to find out the spy cameras. I definitely will take it with me next time go on a trip.The other 2 pictures are showing another built-in feature: anti-theft. It sounds and flash when detects movements.It's a good investment.
