LAKELAND Lakeland Dual Basket Air Fryer - 9L, Black

I am now a convert to air fryer cooking. Following delivery and set up we tested it out by cooking a fish and chip lunch for two. This was cooked perfectly from frozen. It certainly cooks well using less electric, the instructions were quite good and once you get used to varying the temp and timings for different items they can be cooked to be ready together. Our second test were pies and jacket potato from frozen. It performs well as the finished items were piping hot with well cooked pastry on the pies and crispy skins on the potatoes. Excellent product. Gets hot quickly, and with the versatility of 8 preset cooking functions that are easy to change the cooking temperature and times for you can't really go wrong.

Great air fryer but it is large it has the two drawers so that’s probably to be expected. We use it most days. My advice would be to liners for the drawers, they’re easily cleaned just pop into dishwasher

Attractive on worktop and relatively easy to use. Instruction booklet is flimsy including a few recipes and could have clearer basic instructions.I have not had any problems with it and generally been pleased with the end product.Very useful to have 2 drawers and cook different products at different temperatures at the same time. Very little oil required for eg sauté potatoes so less fattening and of course no after smell in the kitchen.

This appliance is very easy to understand and use. My only complaint is that when I am trying to get food out of the smaller basket it is difficult to catch hold of and I often burn my hand so Have just emptied the food out onto a large plate which is the easiest to do. Have only tried dried foods so far, pies chips, roast potatoes, chicken breast and crisping us bread rolls

Deliberately left this review for a few months to be able to give a rounded summary. We’ve used this several times a week, for a family of 5. Both drawers work well, I agree with some other reviews that the small drawer is slightly slower to cook, but that’s fine once you know; preheating for a few minutes ensures good cooking in both drawers. Chips have come out great - after experimenting we’ve ditched all the washing/drying to remove starch - we just cut, mix with a tblspoon of olive oil and some paprika, and get crisp chips in about 20-25 minutes. Salmon v quick, and all the obvious ones like sausages, garlic bread etc work well. We’ve had no issues with the non-stick surfaces, but when cooking something that might stick we put baking paper in. We can do toast potatoes for 5 in one drawer, and vegetables in the other when doing a roast. Have also done roast pork and got great crackling, overall, very easy to use/clean and I would recommend, particularly if you want a two-drawer option

Being a Air Fryer virgin, I decided to take the plunge with this Lakeland oven. I really like the two drawers which allow the versatility of different sizes and quantities of food being cooked. OK I needed some trial and error and many online recipe reading, but quickly managed to produce nicely cooked meals. The controls are very easy to use and it's easy to control both drawers using different temperature and timings. Cleaning the drawers is easy but I would recommend purchasing a few additional accessories which would help with with removing very hot food from the drawers. All in all I'm really pleased with this Air Fryer and it has opened up a new way of cooking for me.

So I bought this end of November.... possibly black friday.... it was £79.99 at the time.I wanted to replace my smaller single draw Tower machine.I live alone but wanted a twin draw fryer but also something not too big.I was pleased with this.... the price,size and touch screen type timer were perfect for me.Some reviews weren't amazing but I thought I'd give it a go.Must say I love it.... 4 months old now and really good.Draw sizes are great for me.... it cooks quick enough and well .... much faster than my tower unit.... even with both sides going.The non stick is good as new.... unlike my tower that started burning off and flaking going rusty after 2 months and the cooking tray bending out of shape..... this has none of these problems.Recommended,a good budget friendly air fryer.

Great drawer sizes to separate meat from potatoes and veg, nice looking lovely to use, fantastic to keep clean
