In order to clean these, you have to take the caps apart - remove the white inner seal - then reassemble. This seemed like it was taking up too much time and effort for me, and I just stopped using these caps after a short while, but if the cleaning is not a problem, they work well.

They don't screw on flush for standard beer growlers. Not a proper fit with leak potential. They require over-tightening, and in many cases involve hitting the top of the cap to snap in flush to my growlers. Not cool. I was hoping these would be great, and would not have to continue to use metal ones that rust out, but the threading on the cap is different from the threading on your standard beer growler. If they could make a durable plastic version of the metal growler cap with the same sealing technology, that would be perfect. Evidently, this product is not specifically geared towards beer growlers. For anyone looking to purchase these for beer growlers, just stick with the metal ones for now until something better comes along.

I am very pleased with the way that these caps fit on my growlers. I have already went down to the local brewery once and had them filled. These caps kept the beer very fresh. Now I had read other reviews where the caps didn't work for what they put them on, so that tells me that it will not fit tightly on everything. But as for a 64oz (1.89L) growler, they are perfect.

Pros: These caps are superior to the traditional metal growler caps with a wax or rubber liner because they can be used multiple times without developing air leaks.Plus they are dishwasher safe so they are easy to sanitize.Cons: They only come in black. The standard white metal caps are easier to write on with a black sharpie. These require a conte crayon, paint marker, or silver sharpie to write on the black surface.

ALTHOUGH these do not fit the GT Kombucha jars they do a good job on single track jar tops. GT uses a double thread and these caps don't work well on them

Fits standard growler..1st cap last 1 time. Tried tightening on a second fill an it cracked on me

I use these caps to replace the worn out caps on the GT & Kevita bottles for my 2F Kombucha brews. I have bought other caps that were smooth. These caps have molded lines around the edge of the lip which makes it easier to open a bottle because you can get a better grip on them.

I used PBX to clean these and keep them in a jar with a touch of sanitizer so that when I clean and sanitize my growlers, they're ready to go. They don't leak, rust, or get stuck on the growler.
