These little drawing/writing tablets are great! My 3 year old loves to draw and we keep one of these in the car for easy on the go entertainment. He can use up a whole pad of paper in a day with drawings but with these he can just draw and erase over and over again -so no more piles of scribble papers!I’ve purchased several of these boards of different brands trying to find one that would be good to gift for a party and this one is definitely my my top choice for preschool age kids for a few reasons. I like that there is a lanyard with the stylus that attaches it to the board so it’s not constantly dropped when a little is using it sitting in a restaurant or riding in a shopping cart. It’s also easy to take the lanyard off if you don’t want to use it. The size of the board is just right, not to small to be easily used by little hands, but also not too big so that it still easily fits into a bag/purse. The main thing that makes this board better than the other ones though is that it has a solid back, making it feel substantially more sturdy. Other sets of multiple boards that I ordered from other brands felt very flimsy. The back of the boards had kind of like an indentation in the plastic, making them thinner and seemingly easy to twist/bend and break. In the photo you can see the difference between the back of this board (yellow one, on the right side) compared to other boards I purchased.

it works great fun for the kids

So I’ll start off by saying this is a great piece! My only complaint is that where the pen clips onto the top, can come off, and if you’ve ever been around babies/toddlers/kids then you know they like to put things in their mouth. We didn’t attach the piece just in case our son wanted to “taste” it. Other than that it’s cute and he loves to draw on it! Maybe update the product where that piece can just be a permanent fixture.

Daughter loves this toy. Plays with it all the time. Cool toy to draw and be creative. Brightness is good. Super light weight and easy to use.

Some of the other reviews made me nervous after purchasing. I was concerned the drawings would be really hard to see and underwhelming. They certainly are not as awesome and vibrant as the photos show, but they also are not as bad as some of the more negative reviews would have me believe. My photo for example, right to the left is a big window letting in a lot of natural light, and the drawing is still very clear to see. No squinting or straining your eyes. I would say rather than being hard to see, it's just the color appears a little watered down for lack of a better word. My toddler loves it, and I like it too. Button to erase works great, she picked it up real fast.You cannot selectively erase parts though. It's either a total erase or no erase. However, upon looking at other products, it seems this is the case for any other similar eInk tablet. Must just be the nature of the product and technology.
