they don't make these for the rear tank on a 1997 f350 anymore only place you can find these ... had to make them work

The straps need to be shaped to the tank which isn’t a problem with a sturdy post and two hands to pull the strap to proper bend. Simply used a sharpie to mark the bend point and wrapped around apost; pulled and voila! A perfect bend! Not sure what the gripe is about the 5” bolts and nuts. The truck is 40 yrs old and came with 5” bolts originally. Splurge the extra $4 bucks and buy some new ones for goodness sake! Quit being Whitney babies.

Fit and worked perfectly.

Fit just right on my 1988 F-150 regular cab long bed with the 19 gallon side tank. The straps are longer for the short bed with the 16 gallon tank. I think that's why a lot of people had difficulty and said these straps are too short. That's because they are if you have the 16 gallon tank! They are correct for the 19 gallon tank. You'll also have less trouble if you take your old straps and use them as a template to bend the new straps into shape. Makes the installation so much easier. Hope that helps someone.

Perfect fit for both my 1984 f150 single tank 302 and 1995 f150 front tank 300. Both tanks are 19 gallon. My 97 f250 has the shorter 16 gallon and I can see these would not fit that as the tank is shorter and chunkier

Good product, well built. This is why I give it only four stars. My problem was they were too short for my app. I had the truck in my shop on my liftand needed to get it going so I made it work using a five inch bolt. Oder info said it would fit. Short strap was wayto short, could not use it (but did not need it anyway) longer strap was about four inches to short for my 95 F-1504x4.

As advertised, great item , fit well on a 1992 F 150 mid tank. Straps will need some forming with a rubber mallet to fit the flats an curves of the tank. Very tight fit, I cut a old bike inner tube an glued them to the straps to prevent metal to metal wear.

Fit 1980 ford 1/2 ton 4x4 ranger f150 front tank very well and shipping was as promised.
