iHeartDogs Heartbeat Puppy Toy - Comfort Cuddler Pillow - Dog Anxiety Toy

The receptionist at our vets recommended this when we started crate training and the puppy carried on and cried all night long. Thankfully it arrived QUICKLY. The first night she slept through, and has ever since. She adores this heartbeat pup and sleeps on top of it and will get it out of the crate and carry it around. I do have two complaints about the design. The screw that locks the battery in, is extremely tiny. You need the teeny, tiny phillips head screwdriver that is used to repair eyeglasses. Either include it with the toy, or make the screw a normal size. My vote would be to make the screw bigger. I had a VERY HARD time opening it, especially the first time. The second complaint is that there’s no way to turn off the heartbeat. This wastes the battery. Batteries aren’t cheap and I worry about the environmental impact.

The media could not be loaded. Our beloved Disco, Biscuit’s main squeeze/partner in crime for 9+yrs (and that doesn’t include their time together before we brought them home as a bonded pair adult rescue) passed away last month. He was with her when she passed; his appetite has been slowly dwindling and he’s definitely in low power mode. He shows zero interest in other dogs, even familiar ones…despite our friend’s sweet white boxer Gigi giving it her best shot to get him to notice her. We give him all the snuggles we can, but it’s not the same.The item arrived quickly (same day shipping option) and in minimal packaging (👍👍). The batteries were easy to insert into the heartbeat mechanism and it is ticking away. Biscuit settled into a favorite napping spot on the rug, I tucked Stuffy under his chin and then waited to see what would happen. He sniffed a bit but didn’t move away from or chew on Stuffy. His head then started the inevitable sinking bob that precedes naptime and down he went. He awoke a bit ago, repositioned, and rested his head back on Stuffy, so I think this new cuddle puddle partner might do OK. Hopefully this helps him through his 💔FYI if you’re a light sleeper, the heartbeat is audible. It sounds like a click in the video but it sounds like a heartbeat IRL. Between everyone’s snoring, I doubt it’ll be an issue in our house.

I got this to have ready when I picked up my rescue pup, and he loved it. He has yet to play with a single toy, but this has become his security blanket, and we move it from room to room when we go to bed, or if he’s sleeping while I work in my home office, or if we are on the couch watching tv. It is a must to have in the car with us, he uses it as a pillow and honestly it looks pretty comfortable :) I turned the heart on once and it was LOUD and I think freaked him out a little bit..so this was just an expensive stuffed dog but it is what it is. It was worth it if it makes him happy. 10/10 would recommend!

Puppy loved it - too much. He nuzzled it very night in his crate but only lasted 2 weeks before his little sharp teeth ripped a hole in it. Not made durable at all for puppies.

This is a well made pet toy, nice and sturdy. However, if you want it for the heartbeat function, you may want to spend a little more for the name brand heartbeat puppy. This one only worked the first time I put batteries in it. Turned it on and turned it back off and the next time I wanted to use it, it wouldn't come on.

This product works as advertised. At first I thought it was a gimmick but it actually works amazingly.We received a 6 week old puppy from a small litter and the litter mates were already placed, so we brought the puppy into our home.The first night the puppy was crying and was unsettled while in his crate. The next day we bought this tool and he amazingly now loves his crate. He is able to sleep through the night, Less some potty breaks and he loves it.This is an amazing concept and idea. The warmer is a basic hand warmer, and for younger puppies it may be necessary to continue replacing the heat pad, for us it is unnecessary. One set of batteries lasted about a week, and the heart beat got more subtle as the batteries drained. Just replaced the batteries today and the puppy seems to enjoy the stronger ‘pulse’ 😂This is amazing for our 6 week old puppy and should calm any puppy being separated from their mother.

puppy has drug and chewed and shaken this thing ever since she got it and it is still in one piece and lookin great. I took the heart out because she discovered the velcro closure that hid the pouch holding the heart. she pulls that pouch out but it remains attached and in one piece! Excellent product. further when she was a small puppy the heart sound was comforting to her.

Pups soft and a lot cheaper then other ones, works fine.

My puppy definitely loved having this near her and in her crate for the first week we had her, the heartbeat lasted a longgggg time... some reviews saying it didn't last a day or two? I had mine on non stop during the night & day for literally 6-7 days, that whole first week we got her, and that thing just kept beating.. I should also mention that I bought dollarstore batteries for this and didn't need to replace or turn off the heart for an entire week lol.. it's bigger than the snuggle puppy brand name one, works the same, and is half the cost.. no need to spend double, my pup lost interest and started treating it as a normal toy with interest in the velcro stomach so I have taken it away and only let her play with it when supervised, well made, soft & cute

good quality product but my puppy had zero interest

This product didn’t last 12 hours in my home. My 13 month old pup has total recked it. I am very disappointed with the quality of this product. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
