I installed them in my living room. Thinking they would last a long time, I put them up with a permanent means. Not even a month later, the only colour that works is green. The red and blue just stopped working. Terrible quality product for the price. It was expensive to take the lights off

When we had an extension done we got a section for shadow lighting on the ceiling. Since then I have been looking for led rope light which could fit in the gap.Package Content:1x 20 meter Led rope/Strip Light2x Power adapter pack includes remote controlsThe  led rope light  or should I say it isn’t really a round rope shape it’s a flat shape. I really liked the flat shape rather than a round rope shape, purely because the round one’s are prone to turn/twist around if not laid well. The leds are covered and well secured with silicone. The leds are SMD 5050 which are much brighter and high quality LEDs than 2835.Since the package come with 2 power supply package, each – 1x power supply, 1x remote control, 1x 4 pin connector. When you connect the 4 pin use the pointed section and push it hard in to one end (the second end is sealed) of the silicone making sure the pins are connecting the wires. Once that is well secured you can them push the pins into the female socket attached to the main power supply. Using the remote control you can power on/off, change colours pointing out to the infrared, of course don’t forget to install 2x AAA batteries before using the remote. Changing colours is very simple and you can increase or decrease the intensity of the light too. The white isn’t a bright hue but slightly different hue but that isn’t a problem.Also, the instruction manual talks about the mobile app which can be installed on the android or apple phones. I am not too bothered to use the app as the life is already controlled with too many apps installed on the phone, remote does the job whilst I am in the room.NOTE: if you are power consumption conscious then you may not want to use the white option as white always takes the maximum power consumption, the lowest power consumption the blue.I really hope you found my review helpful and would love for you to click on the “YES” button to say so. Item returned as it wasn’t quite the LED strip I believed it to be. I was looking for an RGB LED strip that could be inserted into a diffuser type strip and believed I had the right item, unfortunately this is a rope type light (enclosed in rubber) that wouldn’t fit.There was no obvious mention of this when I was initially looking, however, I did find 1 mention of it deep in the blurb when I re-read all associated wording.This did seem a good light strip though, was nice & bright in a decent waterproof casing that looked the job if you were intending to use it outside.

If o could put a minus I would as had these 3 weeks burnt out bought new controller same thing …… very expensive and they don’t last …. Do not buy these

Excellent piece of kit, we had an initial problem with the controls- described the fault to the company, and straight away they said they would send another control to us, no charge! It arrived promptly, courteous emails and left us totally impressed! Thank you GreenSun, brilliant!
