Vintage Pocket Watch with Chain

This is a nice item for the Gravity Falls fan. It's sturdy metal, but surprisingly lightweight. It comes with a long (32") chain for around the neck, as well as a second foot-long chain with a clip more suitable to using it with a fob vest pocket. There are no instructions about changing the battery or anything, but on the bottom of the back I see a notch so I presume one just pries the back off that way to get to the battery. Definitely worth the price.Added five weeks later: my watch, which has probably been sitting on a warehouse shelf for a few years, started losing time. The battery was dying. I replaced it and all is well. I just wanted to explain how to change the battery for those that may not know, since there are no instructions.You'll need an SR626SW button cell battery and a small flat-bladed screwdriver, Turn the watch backside-up, look on the bottom ("6:00") and you will see a small 'slot' about 6mm wide. Insert the screwdriver and give it about an eighth-turn to pop the back off. You'll see a small mechanism in the center of the watch but it's under a white plastic web-like cover. Gently lift that white plastic piece and put it aside, noting it's orientation. Now you'll see the battery. The top part is under a small "overhang" and you need to gently pry the battery out without bending anything, then put the new battery in, replace the plastic web, and snap the back on again ensuring that the slot is on the bottom again. The hardest part of all this is that the batteries are so small they're tricky to manipulate.

This is an amazing pocket watch and for under 20 bucks! My Gravity Falls loving 9 year old was in awe when he opened it on his birthday. It's really great quality and the details are beautiful. Highly recommend!

Worth to collect.

It's beautiful piece, vintage look. The description doesn't mention this, but it comes with two set of chains, so you can wear it both as a pocket watch or a necklace.

Love this thing. Easy to use, great fashion statement, elegant. Makes a nice, satisfying ticking sound— keep in mind it is always doing that so if you’re in a dead silent room you may just be able to hear it. I’m not gonna lie, if you hold it or look at it for more than a minute or so, it’s clearly not an expensive accessory, but I don’t think that diminishes my enjoyment and most of the people I run into don’t look at it for more than five seconds anyways. Five stars.
