More than 30 years ago while in Singapore I was introduced to Tiger Balm. It's one of my favorite remedies for aches and muscle pain. I did not try the ligament until about a year ago. I saw it at the check out stand as a local Asian market and bought it based on my previous admiration of the TB ointment.I do a lot of yard work and find that as I age my muscles don't bounce back like they used to. I like to rub the liniment on sore muscles. Relief comes I just a few minutes to aching muscles.My parents have been visiting and my mom has tried so many prescriptions for her aching legs. She's taking gabbapentan which provides moderate relieve. I ordered this product thinking it might help her during her sleep with the pain. She has been using it for almost a week now and says it eliminates the aches from her legs while sleeping. She has been finally able to have a night a uninterrupted sleep. I hope it continues to work for her.I love the smell but if you are sensitive to strong odors you may have an issue. This is what's on the bottle: active ingredients are 28% oil of wintergreen, 16% menthol and the inactive ingredients are eucalyptus oil, spike lavender oil, and light mineral oil. The expiration date is about 1.5 years from the date we received it. The bottle is 2 fluid ounces and my mom has used about 2/3 in this past week so the expiration date is not an issue. I am so happy this works for her aching legs. I have been having her put the TB ultra strength ointment on top. It seems to provide layers of comfort.

Thank God this arrived quickly and with none of the leaks that others have described. It's also at a better price than i can buy it for anywhere locally. It's the same powerful oil i have been buying for years and penetrates quickly and relieves muscle pain and spasm the best of any rub or balms. Nothing takes extreme pain away completely, but you CAN feel this help immediately, especially with muscle spasms, and the relief lasts.

I love this stuff. I have a serious pain condition that even pain meds don't help very well, and this stuff penetrates deep to provide relief soon. It's especially great after lots of activity. I don't use it on muscles as much as I use it on my chest where I had my surgery. I love that a little goes a long way, and it's not gel-like or sticky. It's more like an oil that won't leave you greasy. It smells and reminds me of icy hot, but much more potent and more natural feeling. Warning, if you put this on all over you can get very cold before it gets warm. It works great though, I recommend to everyone over products like Icy Hot and regular Tiger Balm. You can also rub this on your chest for congestion like you would use Vick's :)

My husband and I rub this in real good for sore muscles, the coolness you feel afterwards is like a continuing massage long after you stop. We do a lot of gardening as well as weight lifting so when we need a deep massage, this liniment works wonders. We have bottles of this sitting all over the house for easy access even on the porch to rub on to the bottom of our feet before putting shoes on. Jim is a landscaper and has me rub this on his knees and back in the evenings right after a shower - he says it makes a big difference in his tightness and soreness - he is almost 60Update: 1/2017: We still use this almost daily - our boys are away in college and when I heard one of the boys had aching sore muscles from his new job - I got on Amazon and ordered him some of Tiger balm - we usually put a heating pad on after applying this if we are really sore

Tiger balm ligament has been the single best pain relief for my chronic pain. I have used it for years. Unfortunately, this bottle doesn’t seem as potent as previous ones I’ve ordered, or as I’ve gotten older the pain is worse, but it still works wonders and when used daily I am pain free. I only use it at night though, because the menthol smell is quite strong. Better than any drug or icey-hot product in my experience. The Tiger balm rub is not as high in menthol and is not as affective as ligament. The patches do a good job, but they are more expensive.

I didn't realize that this is an oil when I purchased it, I was thinking it was the cream, but I am impressed with it. It only takes a few drops to cover my entire shoulder. I have frozen shoulder and it's very painful but this has helped immensely! Worth every penny.

Love all tiger balm products. This is warming.

I have been using this product for years. I love it. It used to be cheaper than this. It instantly relieves pain. The scent is great for me but I don't recommend to use for a long period of time. It might make your nose dry.

I couldn't find this in store anymore, so was glad to see Amazon carries it.

I have used TIGER BALM LINIMENT since I was in high school sports. TIGER BALM LINIMENT is an exceptional product. I apply as needed before my exercise-workout and if needed, later in the day to sore areas.
