Good game for parents, educators, speech-language-pathologists, and other child-clinicians.
This small box contains a deceptively simple game, yet it holds the potential for varied uses by parents, educators, speech-language pathologists, child development specialists and more. Understanding cause and effect is intrinsic to many things we learn about the world, but verbalizing it doesn't come naturally to young children, and it certainly does not come easily to children whose abilities are different than the norm. You can use this as a memory card - to put together two parts of brief stories. That alone helps with inferences (e.g. two cards go together because both of them have to do with a cake being baked). But 'finding pairs' is only the beginning. You can ask questions, tell stories, predict, infer, contrast and compare. These illustration of everyday events (some of them humorous, as life often can be), can lead to discussion of cause/effect, circumstances, context, predictions, problem solving, and more (e.g. why did the cake burn? why is she baking a cake? who do you think the cake for? what will she do now? etc.). Fun and compact, with clear illustration, this is a fun game that can be easily expanded for many educational activities and discussions. Can be played in a pair, or in a larger group; as a 'winning game' or (even better) as a collaborative game. As a clinician working with children, I can see uses for this in children young and older.

Great game for language development
As a mother - this game is great to play with kids. As an SLP for the last 25 years I can definitely say: This card game is perfect for working on multiple goals in speech and language therapy. Cards have wonderful drawings that the kids enjoy, the quality of the cards is good, will last and makes the easy to pick up during a game. The subjects on the pictures are relevant to todays kids and the back of the cards have a sign to make it easy and quick to use and helpful for the therapist to know which part of the sentence the kid has in his hand.

Not Enough
Not enough cards or scenarios to actually make it worth it . These cards don't provide enough material for a good lesson. I would rather have a lesser quality physical product with more pictures so that the opportunity to learn would be wider.
