Lovely packaging, not great value for money
The kit is really well packaged and we loved the outdoor learning aspect and sustainable packaging. However, there's really not much content for the price. You are essentially paying nearly 30 pounds for three bags of dried flowers, some tumeric and dried beetroot, a few test tubes, a larger container and a small sieve. We were hoping the potion making guide would give more guidance on what to put together etc, which was not the case. I understand the child initiated ethos but some ideas would have been helpful. Our children did enjoy it but to be honest they could have found equivalent ingredients themselves in the garden and enjoyed it just as much.

Back to nature playtime
Having spent countless hours with my children, the experience of stirring, concocting, and experimenting outdoors has been nothing short of magical. This kit brings back the simplicity of play, nudging children to explore the world around them. My child was thrilled to mix and blend with the tools provided, fully engrossed in the world of magic and science. The best part? It's environmentally friendly, battery-free, and promotes outdoor activity. Encouraging a bond with nature in today's tech-driven world is a subtle nod to nostalgia.
