50's Fashions: Peter Pan Blouse - Adult Size XS to 2X

This shirt is SO cute!! Perfect for my Cosplay. I am so glad I read the reviews because I would have ordered the wrong size. I wear 18/20 clothes. Usually a 2X or 3X in shirts so they are not skintight. If not for the reviews I would have ordered my usual 2X or 3X, but I instead ordered the XL which you can see in the pic is sized as 44-46. Which is misleading to me (like all Women's sizing). But the XL is great on me!! Especially for how inexpensive it all was. Thanks Viv. 💕

My son is having a 50's wedding so I got this shirt after realizing that most of the rockabilly type clothing here is shipped from overseas and takes a good month or so arrive and usually is in the Asian sizes which is MUCH smaller thank US sizes.After reading the reviews for this shirt, I ordered a size smaller than I normally would. I am 5'2 and have 40G breasts so I was concerned that it would be VERY small. I took the chance after reading the reviews and it fits PERFECTLY! Of course it's a bit big around the waist, but I expected that considering I have to get shirts to fit the top half and can alter them to fit around the waist.Basically, order a size smaller than you normally would and you can't go wrong!

I am so in love with this shirt 🥺🥰. I like to wear schoolgirl/twin peaks/nymphet aesthetic clothing a lot so this was such a perfect perfect find. The material is just a little sheer but ive been wearing it under my romper dress so that isnt a problem for me. But the upside of the sheerness is its so comfy for the hot springs we get here, as well as the insane summers, so i wont have to sacrifice my fave aesthetic for.... not dying in the heat! As everyone else says, definitely size up. I wear an xl usually, bought a large, and its preeeetty roomy still but i dont mind at all! Absolutely wonderful!

This blouse definitely fits large but thanks to the other reviews that was exactly what I expected and with a button up shirt I would normally wear an XL or 1X depending on brand and I bought this in a large and there was still room. I wear a 38 c/d cup and it fit me well. I normally wear a large or XL in non button up shirts. If anyone has any other questions about the fit I would be happy to upload more pictures.I bought this for a costume, I needed a peter pan collar shirt for the SNL themed party I was attending on Halloween. I went as Mary Katherine Gallagher and I was able to get every item I needed for my costume off of Amazon. It was a great hit and this shirt was exactly what I was looking for.

I think the Peter Pan collar frames the face beautifully. I have looked for blouses that have a Peter Pan collar or a long time but to no avail.It was my lucky day when I found Hey Viv! Fifties Fashion: Peter Pan Blouse Adult Size XS-2X. The blouses are very loose fitting and perfect to wear on hot days . The blouse washes and dries beautifully. No ironing is needed. I wear a size 8 and Size S is roomy on me. The XS size has smaller arm openings and is smaller in the body by about 1 1/2 - 2 inches. The collar is set in the neck opening with precision and looks great with a crewneck sweater or sweatshirt.I consider the blouse to be a wonderful buy at 11.95

I thankfully read other reviews before I placed my order. I normally wear a size 12-14 which in US sizes would be an Large. In this brand and style, it translates to a small. A small fit just fine. It is roomy and not form fitting. I bought this for a costume so the fit was fine for this occasion. if you are looking for a more fitted look, please follow the measurement conversion charts with measuring tape. That would be most accurate.

This blouse does run extremely large. I am an Xlarge ladies and the large was way too big. I returned it and had to pay the postage which really sucked because it was over $10. After all, the blouse only cost $11. before shipping. I think they should pick up the tab on returns. They know the blouse runs extremely large. I did however re-order a medium. I really like the look, and I know it will go well with my poodle skirt. I hope it fits.

I knew what I was getting with the fit of this blouse, but I didn't have time to tailor it before my retro event. The perfectly straight cut leads to a great deal of excess fabric bunching around the waist, and although it was manageable, it was not comfortable. I'm going to put some darts in the front and back to take up some of that extra fabric before the next time I need to wear it, and then I think I will be quite happy with it.
