Elinor Fettiplace's Receipt Book: Elizabethan Country House Cooking Hardcover – Import, 9 June 1987

While some of the recipes require a little head scratching, some of the best meals I've ever made have come from this book. It is my go to for planning party meals, and everyone has said "I physically cannot eat another bite, but I still want more."

This is a great resource, not just for Elizabethan cooking recipes (there are several places to find those), but for its history and authenticity.
