These new LED backup lights are absolutely phenomenal! They shine with an incredible brilliance, easily 7 to 8 times brighter than my previous lights. I installed them with safety in mind, checking my surroundings before backing up. As fate would have it, my cell phone rang—it was an annoying spam call. Suddenly, I heard a shout and realized just in time that an elderly couple was walking behind me, oblivious to my vehicle. Thanks to the unparalleled brightness of these lights, disaster will NOW be averted! What an incredible, affordable investment in safety and peace of mind!

You've all seen them. The new cars and trucks with the almost blinding brake lights that are impossible to miss. I was looking for some of the nuclear goodness for my almost 40 year old motorcycle. The old filament style 1157 bulbs are not super bright no matter what you do and it was time to up my game. Anything I can do to make myself more noticeable to the cagers is a good thing. After doing some research I landed on these bulbs. I've had them in for a season and I can tell you they are MUCH brighter than the old bulbs. Anyone that says they couldn't see me braking is either lying or blind and should not be driving. If you are new to replacing your old style bulbs with LEDs be aware that most older motorcycles have issues with replacing all the old style bulbs with LEDs. This is because the flasher unit is expecting a certain amount of load (power used by the bulb). Since LEDs are so much more efficient they do not draw as much power and can wreck havoc with the flasher unit. Either it will not flash at all or will flash super fast (hyperflashing). This can be rectified in a couple of ways. You could buy a LED compatible flasher, add a resistor into the circuit, or just do what I did and leave a few of the old style bulbs in the bike. These will provide the needed load and prevent the hyperflashing. Once you decide to replace them all with LEDs, you'll need to address the issue.

Literally took less then 2 minutes per side to replace...and most of that was spent unscrewing the lens cover and screwing it back on again. Perfect fit for my 2004 Tacoma.

Ordered both red and white, install was easy posts on an 1156 were perfect not like some led bulbs in 1156 , extremly bright and sturdy bulb construction, was packaged carefully in bubble wrap would def order again, can’t speak on longevity being I’ve only had them a few days. No bulb out warnings or errors so far which is a plus

I actually bought 2 more of these after being gifted 2, as my car uses 4 of the same bulbs on the rear for parking and brake lights. After I installed the first 2 on the outer lens, the contrast in brightness was impressive. The one concern I had before installation was that red LEDs under a red lens would make them dimmer and a darker shade of red that might reduce brilliance, the opposite of what I was aiming for - but these are bright enough to keep radiance high, and the color didn't get darker. The parking lights are a solid red glow, vs the incandescent bulbs 'hot spots' and dimmer, more washed out color. The braking mode is seriously brilliant, and anybody that misses them lighting up is too blind to drive.

The little Amazon guru that runs in the background said that this did not fit my 1971 Chevy C10. I thought an 1157 bulb is an 1157 bulb. After installing the tail lights, everything worked except the turn signals. The 4 way flashers even worked. The original flasher unit was the problem. I went to Advance Auto Parts and bought a Novita Heavy Duty Flasher #EL12 and all is well. The front still has the old style bulbs. A future project.

These pictures show very little difference in the brightness of these bulbs vs Antline 1157. $7 each vs $4 each. Not worth the extra cost.

Old brake light kept burning out (unknown reason). Replace the brake switch and the brake light with this light and so far no burn outs.

El producto se aprecia de calidad regular en los materiales. Probada 1157R en Toyota avanza, cuarto/freno, solo cambiar uno por otro.La luminosidad es mayor que los originales de halógeno, apenas mejor en un 50% aproximadamente. Por otro lado sería conveniente que la diferencia de luminosidad entre el cuarto y el stop fuera más notoria para más seguridad. Esperemos ver la durabilidad, si llega a fallar actualizaré para dejar referencia del tiempo.

LLegó el pedido a tiempo, las lámparas son muy brillantes y el tono ambar es tipo equipo original. Las instalé hace unos minutos, el único tema que tienen es que en modo direccionales (turn lights) se produce el llamado parpadeo hiperflash, es la intermitencia acelerada, como si una bombilla de filamento estuviera fundida. Situación que no sucede cuando se actúa la luz de emergencia o flashers, en esta posición la velocidad de destello es normal. En la descripción del producto menciona "Es posible que se necesite resistencia de carga o relé de flash para evitar el parpadeo hiperflash o error del sistema." Revisaré este asunto, porque el fallo lo hace en modo de direccionales, pero no en modo emergencia.

El pedido llegó a tiempo, las acabo de instalar, muy facil intslación. Este modelo de lámparas 1157, tiene 2 puntos de conexión en la parte baja del socket, esto es para que funcione en baja cuando estás en modo estacionamiento o cuartos y en alta cuando accionas los frenos. Sin embargo, estas lámparas se mantienen todo el tiempo en alta, como si todo el tiempo estuvieras accionando el freno. Revisaré con el fabricante a qué se debe, tengan este fallo en consideración.

When i hit the brake this light flash until i stopped and are ok for tail light.I bought this expensive one because i try another led bulb with not noticeable différence between running light and brake light.I return to old style for Honda Ruckus 50 cc not the seem brightness but big difference between tail or brake and work perfectly.I return this one.
