Very poor quality
Product is very poorly constructed and not as advertised in the pictures. There are no markings on the metal frame as pictured. The solenoid is not mounted squarely, and the plastic housing around the water valve is very poorly joined.

Worked for me!
Used this to replace the leaking valve on my old LG dishwasher - found a good video YouTube video with step by step instructions. I did it by myself as a middle-aged gal, only really needed a screwdriver and a wrench - but it did take me while LOL. It stopped my leak and hopefully will get me some more life out of my dishwasher. One thing to note, the original part that I took out of my LG dishwasher had threads at both ends of the brass elbow part, and this item is forged to the plastic on the one side - it is actually easier to install since you don't need the teflon tape the LG video suggested because of this design. I figured it was a $40 gamble to see if this would work for me vs. $1000 (and a long wait) for a new dishwasher - so I'm glad it paid off!

FIxed it
I highly recommend this valve. It ohmed out 1.18 k for the used one. But, this fixed it.I also highly recommending draining hot water side of the house, to ensure you have no leaks when you take the fill hose off. Valves under the sink are probably old, and when you loosen them after a decade or so, they dont seal very well. So, with water shut off at valve, you open the line and it may still be allowing water to come out. As mine did. Secured line, shut water heater valve off and opened all hot water taps in house to relive pressure. But, dishwasher is running right now, no leaks no error's.

Not as Advertised
The product pictured is not what was received. The markings and the color are different. This must not be an OEM LG part. It does work, however the solenoid is very loud when the dishwasher pulls water through the inlet value. Itβs so bad, that I am returning this part and purchasing the more expensive LG part. If youβre okay with the loud βthumpsβ of the valve, then youβll be happy with this part.

Ordered twice and received products with different quality and shape
The first one I ordered was the lighter blue colored one in the picture. It looked to be of very poor quality. After replacing the leaking part in my dishwasher with it, it stopped the leak but made a VERY loud noise when shutting off the water during a cycle. I decided to order again in case I got a defective one or something. The 2nd one I got (pictured as the darker blue of the two) looked different and appeared to be of much better quality. After installing it also did not make the very loud noise the other one did.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS
Don't buy this. We've gotten two of them and both of them had defective solenoids. So not impressed, amazon. I'd give zero stars if I could

The voltage is different.
This one the voltage is 120v, 6w and my current one is 12v, 6w. You can check this by measure the ohm using multimeter. They look the same. I had to change the solenoid on the new one and use my old solenoid to replace it. It's easy to replace it. After replace the solenoid it works well.
