Scapa S301/CLR0560 S301 Double Coated UPVC Tape: 1/2" x 60 yd, Clear

I needed a double sides tape that was not too thick and yet provided maximum adhesion. This stuff really works well where you need a thin dimension rather then something like the 3M foam type double sided tapes. This Scapa tape adheres as well as 3M or better and is much thinner.I used it for several applications, the last to add to the 3M automotive tape on some GM Fender Flares for my truck. The Fender Flare instruction said to "drill two holes" in rear upper fender lip as part of the install. Well, the rest of the Fender Flares used 3M double sided tape so why the holes? I applied this Scapa tape to the upper part of the inner rear Fender Flare, partially peeled back the paper liner and folded over it's edge, positioned the Fender Flare and attached one other fastening point to get it started, then peeled the paper liner off slowly while applying pressure along where it was to adhere. Works great and is on the truck now for several months.Just be sure to apply this and any double sided tape when ambient temperature is at least 70F or more and to a absolutely clean surface free of oils, waxes, dirt, rust, etc.Hope this helps!

This tape works fantastic. It is surprisingly heat resistant. Use it to tape items on the inside of my truck [which gets hot in the Florida summers].
