If you're searching for mini clips, these are too big. If you're looking for larger clips, these are way too small. These are perfect small-ish clips, good for gathering smaller sections of hair. I use it to grab sections from both sides of my head and secure them to the back while leaving my length down. Look at the overall dimensions for reference, it's pretty accurate. These are great clips if you're paying attention to what size you need. The octo design is the best for securing hair (lays flat against my head) and the no-slip grip means it'll stay in place without shifting around.

These are just like the larger ones but are only about 2 fingers wide. They will be good for smaller pieces of hair.

I like the size of these. I need two to secure an updo for my long hair. They are holding up well and add some variety to my hair accessories. They fit nicely over hair ties if I use them for an half up style.

Holds hair well. Can sometimes snag hair when removing. Love the size. Can hold a lot of hair with out looking other huge clips. It can break easily if dropped on floor. Spring holds up well

Why is it so difficult to purchase hair clips? My local stores are always out of the size I'm looking for and the descriptions never seem to have clear measurement details. I search the comments and get conflicting information. One person's idea of "small" isn't the same as mine. I can't tell you how many clippies I buy and give them to someone else.And sellers....if there is a measurement listed it's in centimeters or millimeters. Americans can't handle metrics! So....in a panic I dig out my tape measure that has metric measurements and still I end up with clips that are too big or too small for my hair. The last ones I purchased said the clips measured 1/2 inch, and the clips I received are so small you can hardly see them!. Sigh. Really great!!I couldn’t find these in a store post pandemic, but found them here, same great product!Love these clips, my best friend and I have fine hair, they are so great for us!! I will keep them buying them, for sure!

These are smaller than what I’d wanted. But the colors are gorgeous and of course they’re easy to use.
