I am on my 3rd or 4th re order. I like these the best so far.
After other similar products failed I ordered these. These work great. Now I keep reordering each time I run out.

Pain in the butt to write on but the best of the pain in the butts
Ring tags are such a pain in the butt to use. My last purchase was the small 12mm round version of these and they were almost impossible to use. My best advice is to get these rectangular ones as they have a little bit more room on them and then print out what you need your tags to say on labels and then affix the label to the ring tag. I sell in several stores that make me list a ton on information on a tiny ring tag and there is no way that it can all be written and still have the ring in the tray looking attractive. If you need to write on the tag use a Sharpie pen. It is the only kind of pen that I have found that will actually write on these types of tags and not bleed all over the place. The tags themselves are made of Tyvek which is why they are hard to write on. The kit comes with a "pen" but it is a cheapo ballpoint and you can get half a letter out before having to write on a scratch pad and then try writing again. It is virtually impossible and ends up just wasting tags. The Tyvek is a good material to make the tags out of because it has to be cut off. A person can't just pull it off of your ring in attempt to steal it. They might still grab the ring but its more than likely going to have your tag on it. I found that these are also pretty good for necklaces since they are big enough to affix my labels to. The middle part of the tag isn't sticky so that it doesn't hurt the ring and you can just put it around a chain as well I may just switch all of my tags over to these.

Not as good as Shark skin brand
I really wanted to like these tags. I had run out of my Shark Skin brand ring tags and was desperate as I had an art show to participate in and needed to tag some new rings. These seemed like a reasonable alternative. When you are desperate you make the best choice out of those choices available.Am I unhappy or dissatisfied with them - only when I compare them to the other tags - they are simply OK.They are not bad tags. They could just be better and heavier. The tags are not bad and are adequate but they are not as heavy as Shark skin tags.I may buy again but I hope to have Shark Skin branded tags before then.

Great for using to price jewelry.
I sale handmade jewelry in an antique store and these tag stay on my jewelry so well. Great tags! They really help prevent tag switching.

BIGGER LABELS MAY BE AVAILABLE, BUT ALMOST NOONE CARRIES THEM
According to info on the rear of the box, larger sizes are made, but no one on amazon appears to carry them. And that may be for the practical reason that the 6 X 12 mm size works for most folks. Our druthers would be for something about 50% larger, so that we only need to place one price label on it. We instead have to place 2 price labels back to back to make these work. That takes several extra seconds to manage for each individual pricing, which doubles the employee cost of pricing. So, we can't really trash the quality of the product which has been offered. But, we do wish that some vendors pick-up on the practicalities of offering a larger size.

Work well on jewelry
I use these to price my jewelry and they work well. I just wish the small section had some adhesive on it because the labels don't stay put on the necklace chains and slide to the bottom. I'm guessing that was on purpose because some people don't want that part to stick, but if you need the label to stay in place, consider that. They are easy to write on and are sturdy. I feel like they would last a long time and they don't easily rip. I can also stick other tags easily to them which works well if you want to print your tags.

Just what I needed!
I went on a jewelry making spree lately and I had run out of my Shark Tags on bracelets and was left with a bunch of necklaces with no tags. I have a store 2 hours from me that sells these for $11 but I dodn't want to spend the gas $ to drive there and spend more for them, so I am very glad I found this listing on Amazon. These work great with a pen or a sharpie marker. They don't bleed, you can get them wet, and they are hard to cut. You also can't just yank them off the jewelry item, which I appreciate! If you make anything by hand and need a tag to wrap around it, these are the best ones to buy!
