Many things done right, first Kindle book I have given a 5 stars after years of reading
So many things were done well with this story, I think it's better to list them:- Litrpg. The litrpg elements are light but effective. They are used correctly in that the story isn't drowned in tables and numbers but still is a coherent part of the story and not a shoo-in for a tag.- Sexuality/Maturity. This story feels grown up. What I mean by that is it approached adult topics like an... adult. A lot of KU books will throw things in for tags, not to explore them.- Harem. I HATE harem stories. Why? Most of them are wish fulfillment crap. This is not that. It makes sense to the story, the time, and the characters. It's not gratuitous.- Mythos. Built on Greek myths, did not just tell them again with a coat of paint. I love how the story was so well incorporated into actual myths and legends (or vice versa). I enjoyed looking up all the names of monsters and heroes to learn more.- Characters. Characters felt real and were true to themselves from the start. That is hard. Everything felt organic.- Suspension of disbelief. I never felt taken out of the story. It flowed well and everything fit as it should. IE when the rules were made, they were followed.- Time skips. Why do some authors feel compelled to make their characters gods in like a week? Also, when the time skipped it happened in an understandable way and in good parts of the story.- It ENDED. OMG, this is a big one. I think a lot of authors, especially on Kindle/web serials, milk the crap out of their stories. They stretch something great until it's so thin it no longer is. This killed a lot of series for me. I will miss reading this story. But in missing it, I will remember it and the excitement I had while reading it.Overall, I highly recommend this story.

Genuinely an amazing series.
When I started this series I thought it’d be another quick read to ease my boredom for a bit then I’d lose interest and have to find another series. Instead, I found what I’d say is one my top 3 series of all time now. I quickly got sucked into the adventure and I would constantly check the release date with hopes that it would come sooner. I must say, I’m sad to see it end but I have hopes that there will be a continuation or a side story perhaps about his children.Thank you for the amazing series and I’ll be looking out for more books from you in the future.

Flawed
The author will tell you this is flawed. But that's alright. It was an amazing thought experiment with deep characters and interesting political takes that didn't control the plot. Except that one feminist character, but even then, that's just the stereotype.
