ZOOB RacerZ Fastback

I purchased this as a gift for my son's 5th birthday. He absolutely loves it, as does his dad and soon to be 3 year old sister. The pieces were very easy for both kids to put together and take apart. They were able to both create very different things with ease. The pieces are small enough that I do not want my 1 year olds to get them, (even though they are too big to be swallowed they could get stuck in the mouth) but are a great size for the 3 and 5 year olds hands to manipulate. This is a great building toy especially since the pieces are movable. We have dropped the creations off the table (by accident, of course) and the pieces have stayed together for the most part. The ones that fall off are those that tend to be hanging loose or not connected firmly. Will be buying more ZOOB pieces/cars for them to play with.

This toy is great. it comes with instructions for five different cars but you'll need a little imagination to make them work. the beauty of this toy is that your imagination makes it better. Bought it for my son who's 4 and he loves it. he had a little bit of difficulty with some of the tricky connections but with a little help he was good.

Be aware of buying used. The car set was missing parts and incomplete. Very good used condition should be suspect.

bought this for my (almost) 6 year old nephew. Many ways it can go together so its not like its only 1 way it goes witch was good because he was able to do it on his own and pretty much anyway he did it was right and worked. Also like that it works with other sets of this so you can make bigger things. It was a fit and he loved it!

My kids love zoobmobile, so when I saw this I knew they'd go crazy for it. Here's what I love about it:Pros:No batteries!Kids use their imagination to build all kinds of things around the motor instead of just a wind up car that they crank back over and overI love zoobmobile because it's imaginative and kids can build, but the pieces are big enough for easy clean up and I don't worry about them choking little kidsThe motor does power the car, I mean, it's not like a remote control car with a battery, but it will easily go 20-30 feet, plenty to satisfy my kids and to do little races and suchCons:Sometimes zoobmobile is hard to really connect without being a little bit off-centered when you're finished, so the cars will veer to the right or left. I either have to continually manually make them straight again for my kids or they just have to build something new. Not a big deal to me, but it could bug someone else.

Our son, 6, loves these - great alternative to something like LEGOs. They allow for some pretty creative play and design. It can get a bit limited due to 'running out of pieces', but all in all a great item to own.Would recommend

I bought these for my grandson's 6th birthday and they were a huge hit! He loves playing with them. I purchased another set along with it so there were lots of parts to make things with.

My son is 4 1/2. His engineer cousin who is in his 4th year of school built it for him with little effort. It is a nice add on to the big Zoob set where you could make all sorts of things from sunglasses to dinosaurs, however, it doesn't go that far and my son likes it but hasn't really done a whole lot with it. I wouldn't suggest this as the only zoob product you buy, but if you have other pieces and it is an add on, it is a decent item to have.
