IKN 3Ply Black 8 Hole TL Mini Humbucker Pickguard with Screws Fit USA/Mexican TL Humbucker Pickguard Replacement

This held the mini humbucker exactly as expected but the cut out for the control plate was not quite deep enough to clear the control plate on my Mexican Tele.

I bought this for a Squier telecaster that I’m modifying. Screw holes all lined up with no problem. The big problem for me was the pickup slot was not big enough to fit a mini humbucker as mentioned in other reviews. I had to use a dremel to make the slot large enough to fit the pickup. I even purchased the mini humbucker off Amazon because they suggested that it was frequently purchased with this pickguard. Luckily the pickup came with a metal pickup mounting ring so I was able to mount the ring to the pickguard to hide how uneven and imperfect my filing job was. It all worked out in the end and I’m satisfied with this product I just wish it would have been a less time consuming project.

The pick guard fit my MIM Tele perfectly. All the screw holes lined up , no problem. But I had to file and sand the opening for the mini humbucker to make it fit . Took about an hour of patient filing to get it perfect but turned out fine. All and all very happy with the product but you may have to fine tune.

Bought for guitar Fetish filtertron pickups. I had to enlarge the hole slightly on all 4 sides.

Most holes lined up perfectly besides 1 at the tip of the horn but still worked out.

My thought was to add a neck pickup but found it was shaped way different than my bass shape and it's unworkable'Might use it as a template overlay on the pickguard that came with my telecaster bass (Fretwire )

Physically fit my MIM Tele though unfortunately most of the holes were slightly off. Only a few we're lined up enough to screw in. Didn't expect a perfect fit AND alignment of the screw holes considering the low price.
