4 very good movies.
Four must see movies! My favourite - Copy Cat. Serial killer repeating past murders of very infamous killers. A wonderful psychologist that ends up playing cat and mouse with him. In the end she proves that mice can raw! Very cool picture.Diabolique - Twists with in twists. Two woman wife and mistress kill the husband. But the plot was to get the wife so stressed with the crime she would kill herself and the husband, not really dead would come back for his mistress. BUT the plot does not go so simply. A must see!Pacific Heights- A couple buy a house thats big enough to have tenants as well. The tenant from hell moves in. They come close to loosing everything because of his arghhhness. A must see and you will never consider rental property a safe investment ever again. The Crush.- A very tricky story about a genius 14 year old who gets a crush on her parents tenant in their guest house they rent out. A very up front honest bloke is driven crazy and beyond by her manipulations but in the end spirits of people are what they are and get the karma they deserve. All four are very good, I bought this for the Sigourney movie who is just so good. But ended up thinking the whole deal is so good! A must see and careful who you lend it too cause youll want to see it again and again.,...

Allegedly Based On A Real Incident- The Other Three Movies Just Mediocre
Silverstone's best as she was just starting out here and was a lot more natural in front of the camera. And it turns the typical stalker movie on its ear since she is the one to be afraid of here- and with good reason. Worth a watch. A lot of people ask why the name of the girl has been obviously changed in later pressings of this film- according to lore the person that the mean girl character is based on sued- so the name was subsequently changed in later editions. There are four movies included on these dvds but they are a lot more by the numbers with few surprises for the audience and nothing you haven't seen many times before if you're familiar with the thriller genre. The dvds are double sided with a movie on each side so who knows how well made they are- or how many viewings they will stand up to; but The Crush still makes an impression after all this time. Tara from Buffy The Vampire Slayer has a small role. But what Silverstone does to the people around her is just brutal even in 2016- one word- wasps.

Nice collection of thriller/soft horror
As with any movie, or collection, it depends what your personal preferences are.All these movies are what I'd describe as horror mystery thrillers. I certainly wouldn't class any of them as "PG".Gothica is well written, well directed, reasonable acting with a decent storyline. The sets are good, the costumes and make up excellent, there's really nothing that takes your attention away from the movie being presented by screaming "fake" at you when you're just getting engrossed.Queen of the Damned likewise shares the good points from Gothica while being a vampire based movie. The story here is very far fetched but spun in such a way as to be totally engrossing within the frame presented.Dreamcatcher has a more oblique storyline decent directing and average acting. It's very much a different take on the genere, but one which I thoroughly enjoyed and having watched it I'm surprised it didn't do a little better at the box office.Ghost Ship was the better storyline, but was let down in some other respects, though it had an interesting twist at the finale. This movie certainly takes the watcher into the real of "not everything is always what it seems".All in all a decent collection, with no movie falling into the 'B' category. Not a bad buy overall, I'd recommend it for anyone who likes the genere.

Half Good, Half Bad
I bought this because of Ghost Ship, a spooky film with a great cast (Gabriel Byrne, Julainne Margoils, Karl Urban), and it still holds up, though the movie it rips off, the Event Horizon is still the better film. Gothika features a great Academy Award winning performance by Haley Berry, Rober Downey Jr. is also in it before his career comeback in Iron Man. Queen of the Damned provides interest only because its lead died so tragically as the movie was released: the premise of the movie, a vampire as a rock star, well, it really isn't explored, and Dreamcatcher makes absolutely no sense at all, it has to be one of Stephen KIng's worst works. All films are worth seeing, at least!

Separate Discs
I was expecting 4 movies on one or two discs, but each movie has its own disc! I was pleasantly surprised at that. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because there is no foam separating the discs, so they might scratch easily. I've got them in their own sleeves now, so all is well. Good buy for the price.

Ghost ship doesn't play.
One of the movies will not play. I bought this set for Dreamcatcher and Ghost ship. Unfortunately none of my dvd players or blu-ray players will play Ghost Ship. All the other movies play. Dreamcatcher is a delightful dumpster fire, Gothika is actually better than I remember, and Queen of the Damned... Well Queen of the Damned isn't as good as I remember. I hate it. The package arrived very quickly and everything is great except that Ghost Ship won't play. No 5 stars for you.

A Mixture Of Mischief
4 movies all with brutal motives. Although, "The Crush" and "Copycat" are my favorites. Glad someone had the mind to combine them. A young Alicia Silverstone on a mission to claim what isn't hers in "The Crush" is a trip to watch. Harry Connick Jr. menancing face and voice is enough to make you want be thankful that you don't see it or hear it very much through it this film. He's utterly creepy in "Copycat". "Pacific Heights", I found very interesting and also very nerve-racking. Michael Keaton makes you want to leap through the screen. A bevy of action and attitude. These films are not for the tame of heart.

Lots of Suspense
I am very happy with this DVD. It features 4 movies from the 1980's and 1990's. They are suspenseful and the acting is very good. These movies include famous actresses such as Holly Hunter, Sigourney Weaver, Melanie Griffith, Kathy Bates and some others. Even though these are older movies, they still hold a viewer's attention because the scripts are well-written. If you like murder mysteries and movies with lots of suspense, you might want to look at his set. These movies are definitely worth a re-watch.
